First hydro in Coco and dayum did this thing kick ass!

  1. Hey y'all, got done with my first hydro run using an ebb and flow system. Maui, Gold Leaf, Girl Scout Cookies Extreme, and Royal Gorilla. 4x8 tent using GH Maxigrow and Maxibloom powder nutes. Two 600w Vividgro V2 led fixtures. Calmag and Hydro-guard as per instructions. Used Black Magic Bloom Boost at around 3rd week of flower. Vegged for almost 7 weeks and did an Early 5% amber, Regular 25% and Potent 45% harvest. That's what the E, R and P mean on the lids. This shit is way easier than manual watering for sure! The only thing that sucks is keeping up with the foilage. Thinning is just as bad as trimming with this set-up! Anyway, here it is. Still improving on things with my next run already so hopefully the next one will be just or even better! Keep the meds growing! 20190103_082652.jpg 20190117_204943.jpg 20190123_175910.jpg 20190214_110252.jpg 20190308_171807_HDR.jpg 20190310_165016_HDR.jpg 20190317_083232.jpg 20190320_074937.jpg 20190327_084223.jpg 20190323_012137.jpg 20190327_084625.jpg 20190401_170737.jpg 20190327_084338.jpg 20190410_111534.jpg 20190505_224105.jpg 20190417_163152.jpg 20190513_140945.jpg

  4. Right seems like all I do anymore is stay on ph and be patient

  5. What was your final wieght?
    How big is the tent?

  6. Hey Joshua, the tent is 4x8 with 8 plants. Most of the under growth was lighter and less dense than the bigger stuff and ended up collected in the bowl while trimmed. That's why the frosty trim number is so big. Three 2 gallon bags full of the frosty stuff! Here are the numbers. Royal Gorilla isn't much of a producer, but the punch makes up for it. Maui on the other hand is just plain massive! 20190521_083815.jpg

  9. Those sound delicious man. I haven't done autos before, but they seem pretty simple and quick. Keep us posted on the grow!

  11. That's freaking hilarious man! Hahaha! I stand at the counter where I do all my trimming and catch myself thinking "There's gotta be another plant to harvest"! Even the wife was like "Get to bed!!! I thought it would never end.

  13. Fuck yeah man! You know what's up. You gotta change it up here and there. My back was killing me big-time!! I have shitty facet joint nerves that kill! My kids cancer is really the main reason I'm doing this though. We always make sure to whistle while we work and It's totally worth it for us with the monthly expenses getting up there quick at the retail store. I have a set up by my easy chair and a stand up. Lol! The meds are fantastic btw!!

  15. Try lollipoping next time for big main colas. Less trimming of fluff

  16. Roger that Gelato. I agree! I lollipopped them pretty good once (I thought, ha) then thinned them twice. They actually needed another two trimmings before the whacking, but my back had other plans. The leaves did dry and fall off under the canopy so I just vacuumed them up as they fell. Here's a pic of the canopy. I was thinning foilage way into flower before I finally said fuck it. I'm finding it's somewhat harder to keep up with all the green with this system versus manual watering. I did veg for 7 weeks and flower for 9.5 though. I might cut the veg time down to 6 weeks this time and focus on early manipulation to keep them under control. Second pic is of the new ladies in the hood! So far so good! 20190323_011835.jpg 20190428_201248_HDR.jpg

  18. Hey Gelato, check out my lollipopping on the new run, I took your advice and did them up real good I think. Gave them a high and tight! I think the new run will have less fluff for sure. Let me know what you think? Totally kicked my ass, but it will be worth it I hope! Keep on growing!! 20190709_170549.jpg 20190710_082931.jpg

  19. Looks good. Many different ways to do it and the more grows you get you will begin to see a pattern on how the big colas form and be able to plan accordingly.

Canopy height/thickness can range from 12”-24” as a general reference. This can and should change according to your lighting, environment and growing method.

It’s all a give and take. You give up total yield for higher quality colas and final product. It just depends on what your ultimate goal is.

I always try to teach my new growers to start with one setup and then only change one thing the next round. This allows you to get consistency and to experience how your one change alters your plant.

When you change a bunch of things every grow it’s difficult to see what is working and what isn’t.

  20. Roger that man, and thank you! Both runs are around the same week of flower in the pics and you can totally see the difference in the canopy. I whacked them bitches good this time!

I did one and got pulled off so I didn't get to the rest till three days later. In just those three days I could see a difference in the tops of the plant I did do. I get it!

The individual scrogs helped big-time too!! Here's a pic of it in action! Cheap and simple. My kinda thing...

Thanks again man! Appreciate it! 20190619_170356.jpg
