First Harvest!!

  1. So after a sharp learning curve and many weeks that seemed to stretch into eternity my first plant has been harvested. Here are a couple pics. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1457087341.299012.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1457087419.892501.jpg
The main cola is 18" long and approximately 4"wide. I would say we have yielded a pretty nice first harvest!

  2. Looks great........The best is yet to come! After a few more grows, you will look back and see how much better they are compared to this one, because of what you learned over the grows. Don't stop reading and learning.

  5. Outstanding for your first-- great things are coming.

  6. Honestly not sure on the strain. My room mate/ grow partner got a bunch of seeds from a grower friend who had bunch of mixed seeds from his room. Both girls are different strains and one is definitely not ready yet. They were vegged under a 4 ft t5 with 8 bulbs. They went to 12/12 on Christmas Eve under a 1000w Hps. Most of the stuff we learned was from right here and a couple old school grower friends of ours. We used 5 gallon smart pots, FFOF, and Iguana juice during veg and jungle juice with rhino skin during bloom along with cal mag as needed and flawless finish for the first week of flush.

Most of what the grow shop told us was not working for these ladies so we went old school. No ph'ing water...I was ph'ing to 6.0 and having lots of nutrient lock out issues. Once we stopped ph'ing the issues disappeared. These girls also liked to be fed every water and not every other. They were looking starved when we would do every other.

We have 4 now that started in 1/20 that are going to be making the switch very soon. We are going to take a few clones of these first though.

  11. Under 1000 watt hps in a 3x3 area. This next set will be in a 5x5 tent I think. Not 100% sure yet what's going where.

I gave the smaller branches a trim tonight. They are by no means dry but I wanted to start my project. I'm super stoked.

  13. I love your drying hangers. :D. Bloody brilliant.

Be kind. Perfect your craft. Give more than you take. We are family.

  14. Ok so far dry weight 4.5 ozs and still have the main cola that wasn't ready to jar up and our estimate is abt 2 ozs there :). I would say we did pretty well. That was one lady started from seed around Halloween. Switched to 12/12 on Christmas Eve. It's been a long time so we are beyond happy.

  15. Iae the smler tent for veg and auto and the bigger tent for flowering you would always have a perpetual grow
