  2. Nice. And welcome to GC!

  3. Interesting. What type of light is that?
I'm looking forward to seeing this progress.

  4. This is my first seedling from bagseed at about 2 days old. Right now im using CF's for lighting. I plan on buying either a HPS or MH bulb soon. I am using a 3" blower fan for ventilation. It stays about 70-75 degrees and about 20-30% humidity. I would appreciate any advice on the box, lighting, or anything thing else that needs improvment.

  9. those are energy saving bulbs right,, what type of light are they i haev 2 in front of me and was wondering if i could use themm plus what can u use them for ? just veg or both veg and flowering,, thnx

  10. They are called Compact Fluorescents and yes, you can use them to grow. Same basic wattage rules apply.

  11. nice thank u so much,, i heard floros are better suited for vegetative growth ,, they really dont give off that much heat,, would it be smart to use them for veg growth and for budding growth use a hps light,, or could i use a compact floro andd an hps for veg and buding?

  12. I think fluros can be used all the way through though not recommended. Fluros are generally used for when the plant is still young. If you use them for veging you can find bulbs that have some blue spectrum this will help. Metal Halides are best for vegging. HPS for flowering...

I would suggest using both lights during vegging & flowering.
