Hello all, I'm new around here but i have been reading these forums for quite a while. anyway onto the stuff So this is my second grow. or my first actual attempt. my first failed miserably, but only because i just threw a seed in a pot next to my window to see what would happen, it got about 8 inches tall then died. I germinated a seed a few days ago using the paper towel method - all is good. the cotyledons showed themselves tonight. i have my little seedling under 2 4' 30 watt flouro tubes. one of them is cool white, and the other is some aquarium/terrarium light. i have no idea the lumen output or watts or kelvin temp or anything about this light. all i know is that it is an actinic aquarium/terrarium light. the light is almost like a black light and on the blueish side in color. now, a few questions about this little setup i have going here. will this setup suffice for a little while until i can get come cfl's? is the plant getting enough light? is this 30 watt actinic light doing me any good? or any better than another cool white one would? if you need anymore info just ask Thanks
