  1. So my basic plan is this:

    digging a 2 1/2 - 3 ft hole down, thats 4 ft by 4 ft.
putting up a 2 foot fence around that has sharp wires at the top. (keeping raccoons/rabbits out)
pissing around the outside of the fence. (keeping deer out)
    putting in http://www.plantitearth.com/store/product.asp?pid=328&catid=8
i plan to germinate and maybe veg them inside my shed so the plants have some root and are used to the climate before putting them outside.

I live outside Austin, TX - so theres my climate.

    check list?
making sure the area has at least 5 hours direct sunlight
police shouldn't be a problem unless a copter sees it somehow.
-not to sure on watering ** help here would be great
-also not to sure on when to bring them in and how to cure/cut them ** help here too would be appreciated.

theres timers that can turn your tap on and off? if your growing near your house that is..

but plants dont need that much water.. if you just bring some with you when you go maintain them it shouldnt be a problem every 2-3 days, and just smile when it rains :)

-also not to sure on when to bring them in and how to cure/cut them ** help here too would be appreciated.

once they start to get lots of brown hairs they are getting near harvest.. just post pics up and sum of the more experienced growers will be able to tell you.

if u just read around bit you will see plenty of posts to answer your questions.

hope it helps.. im not a professional but i like to read alot.

  5. Another question I thought about..

How should I start my grow?

    1. Should I put all the seeds in water until they sprout little tails then plant them in plastic cups with 3/4 of soil and put a lid on the cups.

-If so, how long should it be in the cup before I plant them outside, and could I keep the cups bye the window.. or outside? ... also, how often should I water in this stage?

    2. Planting the seed in the plastic cup first, and wait for it to sprout and grow in the cup with the top on the entire time?

-Again, how long should it be in the cup, how often should I water and could it go on a window ledge or outside?

    3. Put the seeds in water and wait for them to sprout and plant them directly into the soil I have outside?

-Again, how often should I water in this stage?

  6. Use the search button. Read, Read, then read some more.

I would put them in grow bags. Probably 8 - 10 gallon bags for outside. You will have to take water to them every other day. Doesn't Austin have a pretty dry climate?

You would be best to start them indoors, then move them outside once they get about 10"-12"tall. While you are getting them started inside, you need to place something at your grow site that would catch someones attention if they walked by. My buddy uses old, red Igloo 6 pack coolers. He hangs them about 3-4 ft off the ground at various locations, and puts $2 in each of them. He checks them before he plants. If the $ is missing, it's not a good place to plant. Remember, YOU found the spot, doesn't mean that nobody else has ever gone there too. Make sure to search a wide area around your site. Look for litter, and any signs that people have been near by.

  7. There is no set watering schedule. You will just have to learn to recognize when they need water. A good rule of thumb is to wait until the soil is dry 1 1/2 - 2 in. deep. Read:
