Im starting a grow of two autoflowering pineapple express wanted to use cfl was wondering how many and what strength bulbs do i need? Do i need fans? Can i use miracle grow all plant feed? Any help would be great its in a 3ft wide 1.5ft deep 4ft tall cupboard lined with reflective material
get as many watts in your cfl as you can, yes a fan is needed, most peopole will tell you to stay clear of miracle grow. study up on LST if your using cfl
Im looking into Lst as we speak never heard of it before but looks good what sort of temp should i have in the room and what sort of fertilizer would you reccomend?
i goto my grow shop and just tell em to give me the best soil for baby plants lol they know im talking aboot weed, i dont know what kind it is it lol. temps id say should be aboot 77F
Lol ill ask in a few shops so how many cfl should i use for two plants? Also ive heard about using baking soda and vinegar for making c02 for flowering have you ever done this or heard of it?
i have heard of pepole doing stuff like that to make co2 but i have never done it, bulb size depends what kinda cfl ya ginna get, the grow shops sell big 300 watt ones and i used to grow with them. for 2 plants youll need at least a couple of them, as for the smaller cfl i dont know, but 2 plants under cfl i wouldnt expect much, you could probably get the same using all the same stuff and just growing one plant
Only reason i wanted cfl was to keep electric bills down what bulb would you reccomend most without being too harsh on electricity
id say go with the 300 watt blue cfl but there like £50 and if your ginna get a couple your much better off with an mh/hps. im on my first grow with mh/hps and the difference bewteen that and cfl is massive so far. but the hps creates alot more heat. the hps is costing me .75p more than cfl a day to run but the yeild im ginna get is just so massive in comparison. heres my ak48 she will be 28 days tomo
Looking good so far i have a 400w hps bulb this kind of one nothing fancy but would id do or would i need different light or bulb?
when i was 14 they were doing up or school, me and a mate bust in one night and stole 4 of them thinking we could grow some herb, didnt work sorry lol
Fair Fair enough haha i was thinking the same so i back to square one just on a tight budget thats why i wanted cfl just dont want shit yield either wana sell so i can buy a right set up thats why i need as much tips as i can get
some people can get something decent off cfl but i never could compare with hps. the cfl was only so i could learn to grow, im confident i can do a hps grow and if i ever need help the people here are great for advice. check out some grow journals with cfl, will let ya get a feel of what to get
