Not joking - your setup needs major improvement however without your specs we cant tell you exactly how. Looks like you need to read up.

 

do some searches on this site for types of lighting, grow room setups and things like that. You can find tons of info with very little effort on this site. If you still can not find answers then ask and someone will deff. help you out. Good luck with your grow!

 

First things first, Plant will not grow under a desk lamp........
If your going cheap,,,, get yourself some high Watt Fluro lights, (the long white ones that flicker before they come on) desk lap won't do shit bro.

And you need good soil, don't use miracle grow, use ordinary soil with no slow release ferts.

 

By specs I mean specifications, what type of soil, light, water, that sort of thing.

Like the above posts say, do some research, dont use nuted soil, and try to get some high wattage fluros to make sure it has the correct lighting. (They recommend 6500K temp fluros for veg). Also, make sure your using either distilled water, or if your using tap water, make sure it sits out for atleast 24 hours to help evaporate some of the negative qualities tap water can have.
