  7. Awesome! Count me in for the ride! I'm a big fan of LST as I've always had faily short grow spaces. Tried a scrog this time around after a month or so of lst. I'm liking it. :)

  9. I had to keep that plant super small plan on getting these ones bigger

  10. I would like to scrog after a while of lst but I have no idea how to go about doing it... I've been reading for months tho

  11. It's pretty easy.. This is my first time.. I'll share some of the things I have learned.

The screen should be heavy, or secured to the wall or weighed down in some manor. I made mine out of bamboo sticks I had laying around. I made a square frame, then gave it legs.. What I'm finding is the plant will actually lift it up so I have to keep it waited down.

The thing I am tossed up about is the screen itself. I used twine.. Many people say to keep the screen super tight or use screen that isn't rope-ish, like plastic or metal wire fencing or whatever. I found it was almost kind of handy to have the twine. It slides back and forth a little and has a slight stretch to it so sometimes you can get a branch to sit under the screen again when it wouldn't be quite long enough to reach to the square if the screen was firmly in place..

I'm 2 weeks into flowering now.. the stretch is filling the screen nicely so we'll see how it goes..

  12. Can you post pics? I was thinking about using fishing line? Any thoughts on that

  13. I'll grab a pic for ya later.

I wonder if fishing line might cut the plant. I don't know for sure but that was the first thing that came to mind. I personally probably wouldn't try it with like 2lb test, but I'd guess 12-20lb or more would be fat enough that it probably wouldn't cut into the plant at all.

IMO..I've never tried it so I don't know for sure. :)

  14. Yeah I think I'll stick to twine cuz I've seen that before and the whole cutting into the plant makes sense with fishing line

  15. Here are some pics for you.

I'm not sure why the first one turned on it's side like that.. it's not like that on my computer...

    1) Sept 10th - 1 month from germination
    2) Sep 24th - Just put the screen in
    3-5) Today, Oct 18 - flowering for 18 days
    6) Shows how the twine will give a bit. kind of a blessing and curse at times.

I stopped pulling branches back under about a week ago, the stretch seems to be over..

Some of the pics show the scrog has different colors, the hid is causing that, it's not all light green in the middle of the scrog..

This is my first scrog, I like it.. It is starting to look like a jungle with the other plants in there and my lack of space.. lol

  16. oooh, I tend to defoliate a bit as well.. hence all the small leaves.. I've stopped that as of this week and I'm just bending fan leaves out of the way to try to no stress the plant while it's budding..

  17. Yeah that looks awesome!

  18. Awesome grow dude they are going to be some dank when you are ready to flower!
