Hey everyone this is my very first grow, and as of now all the plants are vegging still. We are running 4000 watts but currently only using 2000. There are 24 very beautiful plants! The strains are as follows, Pre98-bubba, Train Wreck, White Shark, Jack Herer, Afghoo, Super Lemon Haze, Biker OG and Viper OG. They are in Happy Frog organic soil and our own mix of organic nutrients. There are 4 Hyrdofarm hoods, 1000watt Maxlume Mh /Hps 4 of each, Electronic switchable ballast. Temps go from 68 at night to 78 during the day. We are finishing up our flower room tomorrow and then we plan to scrog the clones :D

Hows your ventilation? I Started using 4k in my flower (Been using 2K in veg with awesome results)(12 Plants)

I'm running a 6'' inline per 2 hoods then I have a 12'' inline for my room exhaust...6'' bringing fresh air in. Also running a 14,000 BTU AC in a 30' x 15' room. My temps with lights on hover around between 75 and 78....might wanna start looking into your ventilation a bit more before you hit problems with the flip. One light = mild temps...stack 3 more on there and you could be a in world of hurt if you arent prepared..

Also understand that with this much 'environment', you're pretty much going to have 2 different climates...below and above your canopy. Do not neglect proper circulation at floor level as well...gardens this big require far more than average closet (Duh). I've got 4 oscillating wall fans and then 3 wal-mart box fans positioned a triangle around the perimeter of the garden.

Lack of air movement in this setting would surely lead to PM, especially if you keep your ladies close. Also be aware that you're gonna an awesome dehumidifier.. surely as you've found out now watering 24 ladies at one time will spike it hard and to do something like this say before lights off would surely cause problems...

I'll be checking in often to make sure your investment sticks through...mine did and its the least I can do to repay karma...

I'm organic soil as well too so any questions there feel free to ask..

Excellent strain choices too!

Thanks for the reply! :D

Yeah that's my issue right now is ventilation I'm trying to get my funding right before I buy my inline fans which shouldnt be too much longer. Also I was thinking I'd water about 3 hours into my 18-6 and put my coolers on dehumidify for a while, what is your take?

5.
Damn, go big or go home
That was my thoughts exactly! Lol

6. I feed/water when the lights come on. Plants are most active within the first 4 hours of the day so I make sure they arent thirsty or hungry during this stage...

AC's work essentially the same as a dehumidifier...just run it as an AC so as not to compromise your temps...

Look up HTG Supply on google...they're an online store though they actually have a couple stores here in Michigan...I use their own branded inline fans with great success...6" Are $100 Flat, 8" for $130...Don't forget your ducting and joints too! All in all I'd say you're looking at least another $600 to really get the ventilation going...

7. dude 24 for 2,000 watts dude clone you can fill a ton of space.

8. Really, if he plans to scrog them he wont have a problem filling the space. I have seen lots of good videos where people were using a plant per light, just a little more veg time, I am all about the scrog method man, you are in for one hell of a ride haha. will be watching this one for sure.

9. 4k watt first grow, should be interesting :D and soo many strains omg

to help with humidity you could always split your plants up into say 2, or even 3 different watering schedules. If that works for you ofcourse

Alright I'll go check them out right now, but there is a hydro shop that likes my business about 1.5 hrs from where I live and they were talking about selling me 6" inline fans for about 75 bucks a piece. And does anyone have any idea on the best way to supercrop/fem/top while scrogging? I've read a lot about it but I still can't decide exactly how I want to go about this.

Dont worry man, everything will go great as long as you watch them and do what they tell you... damn that sounds like a woman if i ever saw it.. haha. i just put a new thread up, im usually a hydro man but i decided to see what its like to be a beginner so to speak, 800w halide grow is the name, it will explain more there. its much more simple then what your doing but soil is a whole new world, using halides just cause all my hps are in use. no air cond in this one, or anything like that, tho u will need it lol the basement keeps it cool enough for the two 400's. cant wait to see more of this one tho, wish i could post some of my other ones i have on the go right now, but partners are sketchy. keep us updated, i will be here for the show

13. Alright so I'm just wondering what everybody's opinion is on how I should go about everything. I've got a pretty solid idea on what I want to do but I'm looking for other opinions to. I'd like to know what I should prune in order to get better yield. If I should fem my clones at this point or let them grow more first. If I should supercrop my super lemon haze to get it to be able to scrog. What the hell is up with my viper OG and how i can thicken it out. And everyones overall thoughts on the looks of my plants. Oh yeah here's a DIY "inline fan" so to speak. Of course this is a temporary fix but it's working hella good honestly.

2 biker Og's with spider mites I've been neem oiling.. To kill or not to kill?

14. Here's everything I'm intending to use at this point.

image-3609444730.jpg

Fish emulsion, seaweed extract, Liquinox bloom, neem oil, molasses, pure blend pro bloom, aqua shield, root excelurator, hydroplex, superthrive, vitamin B1 for clones, call-mag, sweet and SNS 311 all natural surface wash as an organic soap to mix with neem oil.

image-664243737.jpg

Also these are the cloning gels we use along with watering with B1 in peat moss watering trays with almost a 95% clone rate or around there. I recommend dyna-grow cloning gel I only got about 85% with root tech and with dyna-grow I get about 95-100%

Okie:

Neem Oil: Stop using this as soon as you go into flower, if any gets on your nugs....ruined

Molasses: Is that blackstrap unsulphured?

Superthrive: You're double using prdoucts, superthrive is a B1 product, I use ThriveAlive-B1 (Its certified organic, I use it with my clones and transitional periods)

Cal-Mag: I stop using calmag around week 3 in flower, bad juju past that point (I use general organics CaMg)

Sweet: DEAR GOD PLEASE DONT USE THIS, YOU'RE GOING TO HATE YOUR FINAL PRODUCT. You've got quality strains...last thing you wanna do is use a shitty bloom booster thats going to fuck your taste, they taste killer through their own genetics! If you're compelled to use a bloom booster...use Bloombastic from Atami. Out of all the finishers (Sweet, Cha-ching, Overload = Shit) bloombastic affects the taste least...

16. Plants are leggy because they're too far from the light...better ventilation...closer plants...bigger nugs...:smoke:

17. Idk some guys at the hydro shop I go to that always give me the best deals said sweet makes the buds flavor really stand out. I was gonna use liquid karma and they told me to use sweet. Anyone got any ideas on the best mix of bloom boosters?

18. Gonna really have to trust me on this man...you want SLH that tastes like lemons or shitty, chemically tasting flower booster? I only recommend Bloombastic to keep it simple for your bottle ferts...and they use a bit of organically sourced precursors...

If you'd like I have an organic flowering tea mix you're more than welcomed to...its gonna do the best for your taste overall...

Of course they're gonna tell you to buy shit man :p or they wouldnt be in business...they do have alot of things you need...and even more shit that you don't

What mycorizhals are you using? Any compost teas?

19. ongly naysaying comment i have is that those pots are quite big for the plants size i have heard it is beneficial to transplant at least once then you get a more concentrated root otherwise. nice man :D

Yeah I know they gotta get rid of shit too and why not the overstock to a newb right? Lol and hell yeah that would be sweet to use a flowering tea mix!

image-1861059074.jpg

These are the addements we are using! We also have 30 pounds of peat moss.. And lava sand oh and some pot ash lol xD

We are setting up our scrog tables right now I'll post when we are done and I mixed us up a shit load of soil last night too! :D
