these are 3 weeks old...2 were grown from seeds...they are a white rhino hybrid...those are the bushy ones....the other one is a grapefruit clone...im am shocked how big they got in 3 weeks...one problem though...the new leafs up top seem to be getting rust colored spots and turning slightly yellow inbetween the veins...anyone have any explanations why? 400 watt hps hung overhead 10,000 lumen T-5 HO dual spectrum light mounted vertically 24 hr veg period ph between 5.8 - 6.0 constant 80 temp constant 38% humidity feed every 7-8 days, i change the water, deer park spring water is what i use... im using HG Maxi gro for nutrients i have the bloom for the blooming phase they are drinkin a lot of water right now, about 1 inch a day, out of a 3 gallon res....when i top off the water should i use plain ph'ed water, or use my pre mixed juice to top it off? any comments appreciated http://www.angelfire.com/planet/auggystyle/gro
2 things. Your pH should be closer to 5.5 for veg and raised to 5.8-6.0 in late flower. I read nothing about what your nute levels are at, do you have a tds meter, if not you need to get one asap. Growing successfully in hydro means that you have control over your environment, no tds meter no control. One other thing when taking picts you want analyzed, get the HPS off them it skews the pict towards the yellow scale making it very hard to see the prob. Peace and good luck.
thanks for the info....what does the ppm have to be at??? what if its real low? does that me i need less nutes? i use spring water...it has a ppm of 95 ppm per liter...is this good or bad? how do i raise or lower the ppm? thanks
