first grow... white widow and mystery seed in a wardrobe

This journal is mostly for me to keep track of what day my babies are at and to ask for help when i start flipping out when one of my leaves turn yellow... which i'm sure they will at some point. I'm completely new to growing anything so this should be interesting... my seed are half white widow and half whatever free seed they sent me so it's a surprise. they're growing off of a 250 watt mh for the moment... once they're a lil bigger i'm sticking another 250 in there and then eventually i'll move them to the closet and stick the 250 metal halides and a 400 hps on em and hopefully i'll be able to control the sick amounts of heat generated. Right now i have about 78F and 40% humidity and i'm on a 24/0 lighting cycle... this was my baby at day 5... last night.

so i'm trying to find out which of the seeds is the white widow since the place i ordered them from OBVIOUSLY thought i could tell the difference from unmarked seed packets... i know one packet had much larger seeds than the other... the other's seeds were actually quite small... maybe half the size of the other packet and a lil more of a spherical than an egg shape... does anyone know if white widows have large or small seeds?

 

day 7... so last night i closed the cabinet and woke up to find the temp in the cabinet at 95 f'in degrees... obviously not good.. . they didn't wilt or anything but didn't grow at all. so i was thinking about buying a few exhaust computer fans and hook them up but i had a different idea. so i decided to go to home depot and picked up an exhaust fan like the ones used in showers for the low low price of 13 bucks... i installed it and now temperatures are at 78 constant!!! it looks cool too and keeps the light out for when i switch light cycles. also after i installed it the babies seemed to grow almost immediately... i came home and they are on their 3rd set of real leaves now just barely poking out... hopefully things will keep going as well as they are... three more seeds have germinated and i'll be planting those in the morning... wish me luck

 

thanks for the reply chief! yea i guess i'll just grow at least one of each out and hope i get a female out of each type of seed... i assume someone on here could tell me later on so we'll see. but day 8 went by pretty uneventfully... my babies grew quite a bit tho... first one is my main baby... 3rd set of leaves is starting to really come out now and the other two are filling in quite nicely... can't wait till i see them in the morning... second one is the other type of seed... as you can see they look completely different so we'll see.

 

ok so i need help QUICK!!! one of my plants is taking off great... it's gaining a lot of size and looks great but the other 3 aren't looking so hot... one was growing with the good one really well and then just stopped growing two days ago and the leaves started drooping really badly... another one looks like it's growing but is growing slow and then the other one is the one that got the tip burned by the cfl which is also growing very slowly... it seems they all slowed to a crawl about two days ago except for the one... i know i'm not overwatering them... i have a moisture meter... they're only on day 11 so i don't think they need nutes yet... what else could it be? humidity is around 30 and temp is anywhere from 75 to 83

 

yea i think we got them from the same place lol... i wish i knew... guess we'll find out though... anyone have any suggestions about the drooping? i can see the tips of the roots in the hole of the pots on all 4 of them... would it makes sense that they're root bound already? it's only 11 days in so i wouldn't have thought so... they're in 6inch pots right now...
