Hi, finally decided to get into growing, i'm really pumped to have this 32"x34"x28" vegetation box under my bed! i just sealed the inside corners with Silicone sealant and tried to staple the poly into it. bad idea. I don't have any seeds/clones yet but am looking. i'm sure i'll get something soon. no preference on strain although i think i like high sativa strains. also i'm trying to decide if i should do a 4" aluminum duct with a booster fan or get the plastic fans. not sure if theres a difference. I'll be posting a journal when i get some babies in some soil
With such a small space you might want to think about sticking with indicas since they don't get as tall. A duct booster fan would probably be fine for that space. What kind of lights you using?
aww i'm using 2 t5 flouros daisy chained together. i will hang them at 2 inches above the plants. i can get more of these 24Ws and chain them all together. wasn't sure if it'd be worth it. i think i wanna get a small MH system sometime, like in a glass box that was vented and cooled seperately from the rest of the box. this would also allow me to do hydro safely but i cant wait for that, i wanna get some seeds down!
i should add that i plan on building a flowering box that is around 3ftx3ftx5ft. i will use an hps light in it though i don' t know which size i want yet. the flowering box is still in its planning stages.
