Hey, just wanted to show you guys what Im doing. I have a youtube account set up just for my grow op. I bought them because it was like 4 for 2 or something and why not start cheap. Questions: can I begin growing with these lights? how far will I get? what should I change to? (I only have 4 sockets) how long should seeds take to sprout once they have grown their tap root?
The First Day how exciting As a youngster in elementary school's science classrooms I was taught how to germinate, grow, and care for a plant on a minuscule scale. With beans or tomatoes then. Now I am going to put the tiny botanical experience I have together with the collective knowledge of the internet to hopefully grow some nice, potent, marijuana. Germination From what I have read online and from recollection of my 4th grade teacher wild ideas about the world, a plants most vital era is its time as a seedling - sprout. So I'm going to try and start the seed to the best of my ability, so it can grow to the best of it's. Heres a set of supplies I used for germination: 4 Seeds 5 Sheets of Paper Towel Glass of Water A Small Plastic Bag Heres the process I used to germinate all four seeds : Seeds were each examined for cracks and then pinched between fingers to check for rott. Next, I took my sheets of paper towel and got them wet. Then let enough water out so they were not dripping. Following, I set down two sheets of towel and placed the seeds about 2 inches apart in a square pattern then folded the sides over them. With another 2 papertowels I wrapped the set of seeds another time. The last sheet of paper towel was simply used to line the inside of the bag. It was ripped to fit nicely. I placed the paper towels withholding the seed inside the bag (within the bag's lining). I placed the bag in a dark place, I made sure it was room temp or above. After about 12 hours of steady darkness in the bags I took the seeds out for examination. 2 of the four had cracked, the two Lemon Kush seeds. Another 4 hours later my Dragon Haze seeds opened up. Once open the seeds appear like a cracked seed with a while line coming out. One of the Lemon Kush by this time had gotten long enough it was starting to curl around. This made me want to run to home depot because my seeds were ready, but my grow was not. Sadly home depot was closed so I had to wait another 9 hours, hopefully my seedlings will be ok.
