Hey guys, I was messing around in my basement today and found this small Cubbie that is under my stairs. Its prob about 6 feet high and 3 feet wide. I was thinking I could grow some personal bud in there. Here's the thing I want to do it in a cost effective way but produce as much good quality yield as possible. I know anyone can grow it that's simple, but growing it right and producing a good quality bud is my objective. Now since I'm new to weed in general I was wondering what would be a good strain or two to grow. I have enough room for maybe 2 big plants. So I want to grow two different kinds. Also if I'm looking for a cost effective way to grow what kind of equipment would I need? I also heard from someone that there is a lining you can use to make it so there is no heat signature from your grow room what is it? Thanks guys!
Ya but what's important to me is quality not quantity. If I could grow like 2 ounces of Really good stuff then I'd be happier then a pound of stuff that is mediocre. Where I'm from we can't get good bud in this area so I'm looking to grow my own and to start a new hobby
Cut a 50 gallon barrel in half long ways put hydrotin half way use coa-coa ONLY after 2 weeks started start using advanced nutrients SENSI GROW for grow CONNISSUER for bud if you go grand master level you will have the best buds AANNYYWWHHEERREE!! This is 3 plants put in bud 3 days ago
I keep seeing these videos of small closet grows and they are only producing 9 grams. SO where is everyone getting this one plant can produce multiple ounces stuff? Like do you have to grow it in SCROG format to produce that? I want quality with quantity.
Hey, maybe I can offer a little help, I was in a similar situation. I moved, couldn't access the medicinal grade cannabis I need, so I grew a bit of my own for the first time. My setup was a grow box made out of ply-board, 1x1's, and nails that measured 14" deep, 28" wide, and 5 feet tall. I sealed the edges, wallpapered it with a space blanket then made a door, put a lock on it and kept it in the closet. 4.5 months (to the day) later I was harvesting my 2 little trees from their 5 gallon buckets. Yeah I made a few mistakes along the way, as it was my first grow, but I walked out with 2.9 oz dry weight of something that could have gone for 125/q (but it was just for me) Best advice I can offer from what I experienced are these tips. -Use CFL bulbs, 2 different kinds, one for vegging, one for flowering. Keep them as close as possible, without burning the plant. We're talking just a couple inches. These bulbs are fairly cheap and you can get them one two or more at a time. I recommend using at least 100 watts per plant (actual wattage used, not incandescent equivalent!) The bigger you want your plants, the more lights you need to use. -Don't cramp your roots in beer cups! Be sure to give your plants plenty of room for root growth. -Keep fans on your babes 24/7 to ensure that their stems and branches gain strength resulting from the "wind". -Don't over nute, Don't over water! Use lots of perlite in your medium to ensure some airy-ness to your soil. I can't think of anything else to add at this point. Best of luck, ask if you have any other questions!
Id run some sour deisel. Its a very hard plant to hurt likes high nutes so hard to burn and is a heavy yeilder. I would start with the same strain as sometimes when you get 2 different strains that like different strenghts of nutes its hard to figure out if one starts getting deficiencys or problems. Your going to need a fan for air circulation a 400 to 600 hps , need to think about smell and how to go about air intake and outake. ph pen.
I start my plant under a thousand watt I know its excessive but its what i do HPS.... I plant straight into the 50 gal barrel cut in half. 3 plants. let grow 4 weeks keep tying it down to barrel with string and screw into the barrel. let bud 8-12 weeks Ive gotten 7.5 ounces from one plant thers 3 each.=$$$$$$$$ ADVANCED NUTRIENTS GRANDMASTER ONLY WAY TO GO
