This is my first green room design, and my first time growing. It's in my closet, and is about 3 feet wide, and 7 feet tall. I just lined the walls with tin foil, has a 150w CFL light with reflector hold. I have an air purifier running in there which is giving it pretty good wind, and keeping the temperature at a stable 72 degrees. Also has air flow going out. Any tips/ideas would be appreciated. Please don't be rude, I'm new to this.
That will work. If your in canada growing 3 plants or less is now a fine of 500$ So, everyone can have a tiny garden :O
Tin foil wasn't the best choice. It can burn your plants and does not distribute heat well. If there is anyway you can paint it white you will see much better results
i'd suggest getting another 2 150w CFL's and while tinfoil is not good, it is still better than any dark color as the color will absorb the light and emit heat.
Update. Yesterday I took the tinfoil down, so it's white in there. I left the tinfoil on the back of my closet door though, because that's brown. Last night, one sprouted. I'm super happy, because this is my first grow. I take it also means that if I keep doing what I'm already doing, I'll have a fully grown weed plant in a few months, which satisfies me. Haha. Today I went and got another individual hooded lamp, so each plant will have its own 100w light. I'll keep you updated. Also, if anyone has any input on how I can keep the plants short, and get the biggest yield, it would be greatly appreciated. Just be detailed, because I've read a lot on how to do it, but nobody was detailed so I'm still a little confused. I'd like to get as much out of this afghan kush that I can. ;D either way, it'll be a good come up from finding these seeds when I bought an 8th. Here are some pictures. Also, I put the seeds about an inch into the soil, after I did that, I read that you should only put them a few centimeters down. That impressed me, because it means my plant has grown a lot in 2 short days.
