first grow questions

This will be my first grow and i have planned it well. I have fellow growers locally showing me do's and dont's along with my exhaustive research and notes online...That said

- im starting in a 15' x 8' x 8' room in the cellar. Fully cleaned dusted for bugs, mites, temps recorded for nights,days,lights on/off, humidity, fully sealed from any lights, locked,vented...etc..etc (told ya i took notes)

-this cellar is pretty humid and therfore suseptible to mold (smells like there may be some there already. what are your thoughts on growing here..this is the same type mold that infectes buds and so forth?? guess this could have been a big overlooksed aspect huh?

-As for seeds. i feel confident i can grow without stressing the plants so should i spring for feminized seeds? generally what % can i expect for harvestable females with fem seeds vs just seeds..is it worth the extra$$...
