So me and my friend decided to get into growing because we both found seeds. So far, my is the only one showing progress, and his isn't doing too much yet. We are only in our second week but I just had some questions When and how can we tell if make or female? How important is ventilation? How many hours a day should we give them light? And when should we transfer them to bigger pots? Thanks for reading
they usually show pre flowers at around 3-4 weeks but can often be difficult to spot. taking a clone and flowering that is common practice. however, if you have room to flower them all, you may wish to do that and just bin the males when they show themselves. they usually show flowers around a week after changing the light cycle to 12/12 Google image "male female cannabis" to see many photos and diagrams showing each gender very very important 18/6 and then when you want to flower 12/12 (first number is light hours, second number is dark hours) when the leaves reach the rim of the pot it time to re pot
I made a slight mistake. Today is only their 5th day. What light cycle should they be on right now? We were told 24 hours of light for 2 weeks.
give them anything between 18/6 and 24/0 I prefer 18/6, I find more light hours than this doesn't seem to give better growth
your first mistake is the fact that you found seeds you will 95% have good growing results with hermies they grow like weeds
