The light will keep it kickin till its bigger I've seem yields off that setup but I'd say run double the bulbs kindzls anles over the plant /v\ <bahahahaha looks inappropriate but get your mind out of the gutter. V is the plant The slashes being the bulb groupings Get a mixed spectrum going and change like two of them to a 2700k one on each and mixed spectrums are shown to help plants gets bigger don't scrap her grow her out mate if you scraped every plant you fucked up you'd never harvest anything. Its a learning experience and learning takes mistakes and learning the ropes and boundaries. Not gonna lie that this subject of marijuana growing horribly lacks in consistency on opinion in EVERY nook amd crany. You get suggestions from people learn from applying it to your plants with unbiased mind to sed what works. Welcome to parenthood
I think the color on this plant looks good. I've heard too dark green and it s over watered too light green even yellow is under fert. On a side night I haven't used any fertilizer yet. I will probably end up transplanting this thing into a 5 gal pot full of ffof and let it be for at least another month before I think about nutes. She's around 22 days old, feedback please...how does it look? Does anyone suggest fim or lst? Are there any advantages to these methods of training with a cfl grow? I'm not looking for any crazy yields or anything just enjoying growing my first plant. Also what do you suggest my light schedule nee at this point. Oh if you couldn't tell I transplanted it to a nice big 10" pot as well and added some water. It's about 5-6 inches tall now..can't believe what this plant has made it through! Sent from my SGH-T989 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Day 23: looking at where I should top this bad dad and showing true height and undergrowth... The new growth looks like it is getting plenty of light. What ya'll think? Sent from my SGH-T989 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Alittle small for 23 days. Looks nice and healthy Sent from my SPH-L710 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Chep42: Thanks for the comment.. to be honest I lost track for exactly how old the plant is, it could be plus or minus a couple days. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Abusofnuns: Low stress training had sounded like the best plan to me for a while now on my research. When do you suggest I start this process? How exactly should I do it with this plant Adobe it's a nirvana hybrid.. Thanks Sent from my SGH-T989 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
-Adobe Idk how that made it into my last post. Lol Sent from my SGH-T989 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Lol, well, generally after the 3rd node or so you can go ahead and gradually tie her down with various methods. Whatever is at your disposal. I use thumbtacks on the sides of my pots and some string. I've used safety pins on geo-pots and smart pots. You could even just tape a fan leaf to the side of the pot. Anything works really!
I would check into supercropping. I am new to growing myself and found this relatively easy to do without hurting the plant much at all. It involves weakening the stem or growing shoot a couple inches under where new growth is forming to allow it to bend over 90 degrees to make an upside down L shape. The plant thinks it has just lost its top so it focuses on lower parts of the plant and causes it to "bush" out. After a couple days the stalks that you bent will naturally straighten out and continue growth upwards. I did this just once to the main stem on all of my plants and now have multiple tops almost up the the main top. There are a lot of really good guides and videos out there explaining the process a lot better but something cool worth checking into!
Thanks for the suggestion fuzzynuggz420 I will consider super cropping for sure! Should I wait for the plant to get a little bulkier/ older? I've decided to start in on some low stress training see pics below. Basically I drilled 4 holes on the sidewall of my pot, 90 degrees apart. Then I just bent the plant over to expose more of the newest growth and tied her off. Now it's a waiting game.. I took the pictures about 4 hours after I applied the string. You can already see the plant rain myth for light. Feedback anyone? Sent from my SGH-T989 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
