hey, yer this is my first grow i wasnt actually planning on it but i bought real seedy bud once and decided to test out wether they would actually grow so i planted a few in some soil i found in a pot ive had sitting outside in the rain for a while that i think something used to grow in but we took it out about a year ago. anyway when i realised two of them had started to grow like right next to each other, because i put two seeds in each little pot i filled with soil just incase one didnt grow, i decided to continue to grow it, anyway ive been reading a bit and i discovered somthing about un-sterilized soil that can give the plants parasites and i started to get worried and i was wondering if this is true and if it is absolutly necassary to get new soil?., theyve only been growing for about a week but im not completly sure becasue i only recently discovered they were growing after not checking it for a week or so and i planted them about 3 weeks ago there each just under an inch tall so far and another problem i think is that there right next to each other, ive been growing them outdoors and bringing it inside placing it next to a window when its raining, i live in australia so its nearly summer if that makes a diffrence to anything. my first choice was to get a hps set up with all the junk some dude at a shop told me to get as a basic kit for around 400-500 ozzy dollars, but then after reading about it im just a beginer and i want somthing simple/cheap and heres what im deciding wether to buy. i want to move the plants into some better new soil and into seperate pots as soon as possible, how should i go about transfering them, are they too young? just wondering if this is a decent enough set up and if it is ok to do so. 3 foot double flourescent light 20 watts per square foot 2x 6 inch pots soil of a pH between 6.5 and 7.5 also containing humus to retain moisture and nutirents and perlite mixed 80/20 soil to perlite some good nutrients and a timer Just tell me any tips, anything ive done wrong and pretty much watever i need to know thanks

Lights you can get flouros for really cheap $20 for a setup! Look around in some photo galleries or you can look at mine for ideas on setting it up! Trasplanting....I didnt have any problems transpanting the little ones I would say just be careful not to disturb the roots and ou should be good....Good luck!
