first grow need help

    I started 12 12 yesterday there's 8 plats total I have 5 23 Watt cfls 1 2 foot florescent and2 fans I basically want general opionions on what to do how they look if they all look female

    There really lanky but thats because you used CFLS.

    You cant tell male female till there in flowering which they are not now. When you go into 12/12 the plants start to produce a hormone each day in 12/12 it builds up. It eventually builds up and boom sex shows. Kinda like puberty for humans. That can take a couple weeks.

    My next grow I should be using better light this is just testing the waters

    Also just noticed...always 1 pot per plant no multi like those planters.

    How close are you CFLs. CFLs need to be about 2-4 inches from the plant. Id not you get stretching and lanky plants.

    Agreed with rhap...also in order to find sex of plant you need some good zoomed in pics

    There about 3 inches away from the tops
