Hello guys, I'm currently running my first ever grow. I keeping a picture journal with at least 5 pics everyday that i'm planning on publishing upon completion. Quick overview of my grow room: 1.2x1.2x2 meters grow tent (Buddha room) 1x600W SunMaster HPS light (and about 100Watts of CFLs to start the plants, not used now) under a double parabolic reflector. 1xWK Fan 125mm 430m3/h with a Rhino Pro Filter – 125mm Passive intake Using Canna Coco after reading a lot of AskEd's guides. Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow and Bloom nutes, AN B52, Canna PK for later use some Formulex to begin with and Canna Flush to finish it off. (no AN flamming please ) Also wanted to see how much space matter so i'm running: 1x Barney's Farm Critical Kush on a 20 liter airpot (!) 1x Mr.Nice Black Widow on a 9 liter plastic round pot 1x Barney's Farm Pineapple Chunk on a 9 liter plastic round pot And that's it. I first experimented a bit with some random seeds i collected from buds but never grown them fully. I think i might overdone it with the introduction. Moving on.. As you can see from the genetics Barney's seeds are feminised but the Black Widow is regular seeds. I wanted so much to finally try some at least great white widow. I didn't want to over do it so i only planted one seed. After just 20 days of veg i put them on 12/12. Now about 8 days after the switch i really think the Black Widow is a short, fantastic looking..male :/ What you see in the pics: In the back alone is the *fantastic* looking Critical Kush. In the front you can see on the left the wonderful Black Widow in question and on the right the stretched and not that great Pineapple Chunk. Can i get a confirmation that the Widow is a male before ...killing it :/ ? The photos 10 - 14 are all from the widow.. Also comments and suggestion are always welcome.
could be a hermie but not sure. definitely has male qualities . id toss it unless you wanna save it for seeding
I would have done it already but the only thing that keeps me is this: I saw countless videos on how to identify males and everyone of them show that there is 1 pollen sac on every side of a brunch! As you can see in my example my Widow has at least 5 ..pollen sacs (?) per place! So wishful thinking...i just hope they are flowers that just are not open yet..but i'm still looking for that liberating white pistil somewhere in there.
All that data and band width waste for 1 good pic with proper lighting........ Male Black widow even if successful is NOT the "great" white widow, you woulda been trying a spin off.
No not really. Any other suggestion or recommendation would be appreciated as i said. It's not just for the Widow. And if you notice I didn't say THE great White Widow. I said at least (some) great white widow. I mean ok it may not be the original but I'm pretty sure it's not a complete scam.. Would you have any other recommendation for a White widow?
