hey can you help me with some things? ive had my clones for about 4 days now. i have doomlight lime, dyna grow, basic potting soil, and a 250w cfl 4000 lumen's light. im in a 3x3 closet with 2 plants no ventilation only the cracked door im gonna get a small fan soon. when do i water my plants and nute them ive been watering them everyday cuz the soil drys out everyday. will the setup i have do? oh and they are 6 inch pots. thanks for the help
you need proper ventalation ,an intake fan & extractor fan "rvk"(if moneys not too tight?) stop watering everyday as your roots need air to thrive ,dont worry if soil seems too dry- go for a wet-dry cycle ,ie; water today dry 2mrw water the next day etc.......plus plants thrive when soil gets a little dry as they seek out water they go looking for it making a stronger root system=bigger yields ventilation very important as stagnant air will slow growth, 6" pots are fine as you want to get a good root system going,a healthy root ball before transplanting into another size pot,which will be your final transplant,whatever size your going for. if possible keep your door slighty open so new air can circulate(IF POSSIBLE?) till you get fans. you can get ordinary extractor fans from any electrical retail shop for £10-£15 each($??) then rig up the inside at the top drawing air out your growroom,then putting other 1 at outside & at the bottom drawing air from your room into growroom. also i would stop feeding them nutes as too young for them it'll give you probs later,your soil should have a good fert in it too last for 2-4 weeks before nutes are gradually introduced. hope this helps,happy growing
