High Blades, I posted this in Absolute Beginners and then thought, hmmmmm, I'd rather know what experienced growers have learned. I'm 7-9 days from chop, and am pleased with what I've achieved using CFLs. I now realize that using an HPS light would have required exactly the same amount of love and care as growing with CFLs. Ventilation and temperature management would've been more complicated and expensive, so maybe CFLs have taught me a little bit about managing the plant. What was your biggest lesson learned from your first grow? Mine was to get a better light.
Water is #1 first grow was out in the desert with the sagebrush, tumbleweeds and rattlesnakes. Nutes and fertilizer whats that? LOL OK I did use some chicken poo. Hot desert sun was kick ass.
