Hey mate just read through your journal. Like everyone stated, this is as honorable of a grow anyone could envision. Im glad I could find myself here, Im tuned in til the end. Beautiful plants, learning as we grow is half the fun! Cheers

Week 6 of flower: Things are still going well overall. I did run into one little problem though...Spider Mites. I discovered them last week. I've been using essential oils and pepper spray to combat them. Other than that, things seem to be doing fine. I used an LED overhead light to get some decent pics last night. The buds are starting to get a little bigger and denser. Trichomes are starting to develop. They're looking better the longer they grow!! Lol.
It's not bad yet. I'm wanting to do a perpetual grow soon so now I'm gonna have to wait till after harvest and clean the tent and the room really good before I start another grow to hopefully wipe the bugs out!! Thanks! The tallest ones stand about 40" tall. They definitely stretched. They started out around 24".
Glad it wasnt any worse, definitely some quality genetics there. Are you still sittin on about 8 plants in there?
Thanks. I'm hoping it turns out well. I'm just taking it a day at a time. Hopefully in a few weeks, I'll have some quality smoke. I'm gonna try some cloning and try to set up a perpetual grow soon, hopefully on the next round.

Thanks. I'm pretty excited for harvest. It shouldn't be too much longer now. Just a few weeks. I got the smallish iPower air cooled hood I have now because it was cheap and I was trying to save money when I set this up. In the future I'm gonna get a bigger hood for the HID and probably some LED's for veg lighting and possibly side lighting and corner coverage.

That's what I used for veg on this grow and probably what I'll use on the next grow. I do want to try some quality LED's in the future. Probably quantum boards or a custom made light.
