Tight space in closet grow. 3PM-3AM ON 12/12 Currently in 3 gal bucket Nutes: Every Tuesday; 1ml/gal each of: Floranova Bloom (4-8-7) Cal/Mag (2-0-0) Koolbloom Bulking Formula (0-10-10) The first picture is from March 23rd (appx. day 13 of 12/12 photoperiod) First pistils seen 3/27 Any tips, advice, wisdom, or other things to consider would be greatly appreciated..... I will try to figure out how many days it was veg for.... Bought her Sunday March 23.... To be clear, I had an extremely small window to do this in (first grow, moving out of my apratment on/around May 9th!) So I was able to acquire a plant that had already been switched to 12/12. I got it under my lights on Sunday March 23 at 3PM. It has grown maybe 7-8 inches vertically since then plus lots of filling out!
First pic (2/23) -noticeable tip burn on many of lower leaves early on -my first ferility app was 2/25 First pistils shown 3/26-3/27 Nutes on tuesdays was in 5 gal, now back in 3, due to complications with the airstones
So you have about 5 more weeks until May 9th, if she isn't quite ready to smoke by then are you going to pull her down anyway? I harvested mine too early and the smoke wasn't great but the BHO I made with the harvest was , perhaps an autoflower would have been another good option. I think you are fighting the clock with this one, goodluck, I have followed this topic and wanna see how it turns out.
Well If she is not ready to be cut down, I'll have a very tough decision to make! I can't bring her with me- so If I can't find a suitable temporary home and/or she isn't worth harvesting for smoke on/around May 9th, then BHO is a great backup plan! So at this point, based on what you've seen, how many more days after May 9th could you potentially foresee her needing?? May 9th would be covering 60 days of, give or take a day or so, of 12/12... the moveout date is flexible, if its just a matter of a few more days.....I'll hang out... 250W HPS light went out today- needs to be replaced! Currently just under the UFO Also today Rotated her 180 degrees. I still believe I am seeing verticle growth, she towers over the stake that used to equal her height. 60 Days should be enough for an okay harvest, that's 8.5 weeks but each strain requires X weeks, I think you should look up Kali Kush and see how long the grow guides recommends you should flower her for. I'm not an expert by any means and haven't grown weed hydroponically so I don't know what you should expect.
You will do fine. she will send you down the road with a few nugget of home grown sweetness better than a random scored bag. You packing up and going to a better place to live and grow?
Thanks Snoop for the positive feedback! Yes moving to a better place to live, but unfortunately can't grow again until next Fall..... Can't wait to upgrade the setup & hopefully get a few plants going next time!
