I am currently vegging my first grow. I've got a small set-up for one plant; 3x26watt CFL's and 1x42watt CFL. I have been vegging for about a week. By the time I am done vegging the climate where I live should be prime to begin an outdoor grow. I was wondering what would happen if i veg for another 2 to 3 weeks and then transpanted my girl outside?? would it begin to flower, or continue to veg? Or would this not be a wise decision? any help would be greatly appreciated
If you transplant outside, your plant will veg (and get bigger) until late summer when the amount of dark starts to exceed the amount of sunlight which will trigger the flowering hormone. I don't know if that's in your schedule - it may be best to continue the grow inside and start flowering when you want by flipping to 12/12. Don't plant outside until past the average last frost date for your location. GL!
