Hey guys, have been looking into an indoor grow setup. Getting a 4x4 grow tent 1000W light. Plan on growing autoflowers as I rent and have time restrictions. Have done hours and hours of research but I still have so many questions if you guys can help me out. What is the best hydro type (DWC, ebb and flow, drip system, aeroponics?) for (auto) cannabis plants in that size tent? Best as in... maximize yield, or maybe even the most beginner friendly? I plan on buying a premade system. I am currently thinking DWC, but man I have flip-flopped from one type to another, and I cant seem to find a straight answer. Some say DWC is the most beginner friendly, some say its terrible for beginners. Ebb and flow seems cool, but I dont know if I have enough space in a tent. Drip system seems the easiest to manage, but I heard they clog? Aeroponics seems ok too, but theres not much information on youtube about them with cannabis plants specifically.
The one you know how to use. If its your first ever time, do yourself a favor and grow in soil. You'll save money and get a better harvest.
ZeusMan hit it on the head, I think. You have time constraints? You need this in and out? I have done it in soil and this is what happened on my first auto grow in three months time; (With T5s in 5 gallon pots !!) I would expect that just getting a hydro system purchased and set up would take a month. .... the experts will be along to advise you.
Hempy bucket in coco. Passive hydro. Get a ec/ph pen and it'll be the easiest high yeild u could do. Sent from my SM-J727P using Grasscity Forum mobile app

Coco drain to waste is a good method. I am finishing a run with Canna coco and their full line of nutrients. I ran their playbook at 1/2 strength. Zero problems ,good results ,easy to work with ,very stable nutrient line .
Not at all; Topping? No. Aggressive LST, much leaf tucking, Fox Ocean and soil trio. ~4 gallons of soil. Saturation watered every other day, fertilizer as per printed schedule and dosage every other watering. ~ five liters of water or fertilizer would saturate each plant. Thanks for asking... beginner’s luck? No one cares, I tell ya!
