So I've been an indoor grower, but due to divorce and all kinds of other BS I had to stop doing that, now I'm at a point where I can do this again, as I'm not in a legal state, I still have to be very careful. So here's my plan. I have a very small closet with some basic CFLs, I have some auto flower seeds and have begun growing them in the closet. The intention was to keep them in the closet under the CFLs until they start to smell, then they will begin their journey outdoors. First question, will vegging indoors and then flowering outdoors pose any problems that I'm not aware of? (obviously I'll have to deal with pests and such, I don't mean that, I mean are there any problems that going outside will cause just because of the environment change)? Second question, I live out in the country, there's an illegal goat farm out in the woods, they aren't taken care of very well and venture onto my property and eat my plants I have growing, my banana trees, my pineapples, etc, they eat all of that. So the question - Are goats attracted to cannabis? What sorts of precautions can I take other than obviously building a fence around them?
you will need to acclimate them to outdoors like other gardening plants. Other than pests, shouldn't be a problem. if I were a goat... I'd be a stoner goat. I imagine they would Love it since deer munch when they find it. You could always cage the plants. On a side note, sounds like you maybe enjoying some lamb chops soon
Damn, deer are another big issue out here, I was wondering about that. Also yes, I have been giving some thought to introducing them to my dinner table. One of the males ran into an old junkie car out in my lot and punctured the doors. Don't care about that car but if they run into my truck, yeah, lamb chops it is.
I'm only doing autos because I had them leftover from a previous grow and I'm strapped for cash so I can't order what I want. I can't wait to grow some regular plants and just, see how monstrous of a tree I can make. Super jelly.
I like autos. I bred my own actually and it rocks. Really good smoke and 3 months is all they take. Just gotta max em out as nice as you can.
lol, thank you, i kinda figured. just wasn't real sure. basically I didn't want to go through a lot of trouble protecting myself from them if they actually were... deterred in some way, unfortunately you all confirmed what I thought, thank you!
I wonder if Tiger poop from a local zoo would work? Keeps the cats out for sure and it should be free.
Hmm, good question. That would be a hell of a start up conversation. "Hey yall got anymore of them there.... tiger poops?"
Well I went ahead and looked it up. It repels goats and deer. Here where I'm from it's a known thing going to the zoo and getting some and it's actually used in conjunction as a fertilizer.
