  2. Good luck and welcome to GC.
I see no advantage in 24 hrs of darkness.

  3. tho thc and trics are 'made' in the dark ...no evidence as yet has been proven this works, some seedbanks approve of this, being done before harvest....so much for seedbanks ...lol

as for 12x12 nope total myth

  6. I figured I was a little impatient on the trellis when would you suggest to do it?

  7. lotsa people do it just like you are. I place the trellis after the DLI transition (to 12/12) about 7 days in, but sometimes later; it depends on the strain and I grow a lot of different strains, so I normally just set it 7 days in. Some strains can double in length, like this last grow, my plants, I mistakenly set the flowering to 14hrs and they stretched way too much. I prefer to get an even canopy with buds that are ~6-8" long. Why? Because the tops are the best part of the plant (and mostly all I am after) and the light penetration is best for that top 6-8". Here's a gif from last year:

Not my best example, but it was there. You can look over my albums if you curious about more.

But I see others set their trellis early and they keep training and get a nice canopy as well, so it's all good.

Reviewing your pictures, and I don't really see any reason for that trellis atm. The plants are just going to stretch and maintain their shape. I think that you may need it later on if the tops get heavier and they start to droop over, but atm, I don't see why. The way you have your plants setup, I think good training LST and use sticks and wire would be a better alternative.
Not meaning to dump on this thread, but here's another example of the kind of training that I mean.

imo, that is a better way for your setup.

  8. it wont really make a difference but if you are in a cold climate and not running heat it could be bad for them you dont want your rootzone below 60f also when you flip i think the idea of a scrog net is to tuck the branches and weave then not just let them grow through the holes? overall i think you are doing fine those purple stems could either be a toxicity issue or gentics?

  10. I can see you are growing clones, my guess is the purple on stem is genetics.

  11. They are clones, chimax to be specific, but when I talked to the grower I got them from. They said it wasn't genetic to them. We figured that it was more the likely a lack of magnesium and calcium, I also got some silica for good measure too.
