This is my first grow. im just doing one plant in a 14"x 14"x 34.5" cooler im shoving in my closet. like i said im new so i dont know much at all about anything really. 1st ? - i know theres not that much room for the plant to get that big so how big of a pot of soil is it going to need? 2nd ? - i have a 100w fluorescent bulb 1400 lumens (dont know what thats about) 120v, 5500k. is that going to be enough? 3rd ? - will the bulb burn the plant if it gets too close? and how can i keep it from getting too tall and taking up the entire space? 4th ? - i know im suppesed to feed the plant after its a few weeks old. what do i give it, and how much? any help and tips are appreciated.

Use a solo cup to start in. 2) That will be enough. the more the better. 3 would be best 3) As long as you keep the plant 2-4 inches away from the light, you will be good. The only real way to burn the plant is to have the light touch it 4) There are a lot of Nutrients guides. Just get the best Nutrients you can get. Get the stuff you add to water. something like a 10-15-10 or a 10-10-10 Give it 1/4 strength the first feed. 1/2 strength the next feed. then you can go full strength after that
alright thanks. now i just wanna make sure like while its a seedling it gets 24/7 light then it goes to 18/6 then when it gets big enough i can switch it tow 12/12 and it will start to flower and not keep growing bigger. Correct? can i switch it to 12/12 whenever i feel the plant is big enough?
Your light. Is it 100w equivalent? You gotta look at the other number. What it actually uses. Like 23w
