Hello, Just a nube with a bit of an ego, not really, just wanted to post some pics of my very first grow. I went Organic and am very pleased. I mixed (roughly the amounts stated on the box) "Dr. Earth" bone meal, bud and bloom booster, and bat guano into organic soil, in five gallon buckets. Vegged them for two or three weeks and have been flowering for 8 weeks(on Sat.), thinking of clear cutting on Sat. or Sun. Watered with rain water. Not sure of the strain. Hope the pics come through.
Welcome to Grasscity from another fellow Pacific Northwester! You have much to be proud of, those are some beautiful buds! I too use Dr. Earth's dry fertilizers and have nothing but good to say about them. Would be nice to know what strain/strains are you growing with such a sugary coating. You're not a "nube" anymore my friend.........once again, good job.
veeerrrrrrry nice indeed... i'd bet you're pretty damn proud... and for a reason, too especially like pix 1 and 2...
Bat guano is a great frosting maker, also does great things for taste. Nice buds like that are their own reward, good grow! Happy Harvesting.
Thanks for all the great compliments, yeah, I'm quite happy. It's great when the plant does all the work. Had a litttle bit of leaf yellowing early on in veg. but after that it was smooth sailing. I did do the mollasses thing at the very end of the grow, I will do it earlier next time. Not sure what the strain is, the guy who gave me the clones said it has been in the area for quite some time but nobody can recall what it actually is. Some think it is hash plant, they have been calling it OCC (Oregon coast chronic). I got them hanging now, I'll definately post the final results after I trim 'em up. Got the next group of girls under the sun already also. It was a busy weekend. Added another strain too, should be interesting.
[quote name='gacland']Here they are hanging, 5 plants total.[/QUOTE COOL , im from portland =D, sick grow dude especially since its ur first, dont forget to tell us how its smokes
OK, I finally cut everything up this weekend. The final results were: Agatha = 2.3 oz. Betty = 2.1 oz. Conatance = 2.1 oz. Delpha = 2.2 oz. Emma = 2.3 oz. Total = 11.0 oz. They each got there own jar and are curing nicely. Very sticky, very sweet stinkiness, super expando, I'm in love. The next grow is a week old and looking good. Thanks for the props. Peace.
wow, congrats on an awesome grow. what kind of soil, ammendments, teas, lights, etc. did you use to get such beutiful plants?
I think I wrote all that stuff down in one of the earlier posts. I really didn't use anything special, I used Organic Gardener's Chioce soil, Dr. Earth bone meal, bat guano, and bud and blooom enhancer that I mixed in the soil before replanting, I was using a real old 1000w MH buld, until two weeks from harvest, when I finally got a new bulb (so next grow should be nicer, I hope), and I watered with rain water, I did use molasses about three weeks before harvest. The rest was the strain(of the plant) and patience, just let the plant do its thing, it's a weed for christ sake. It wants to grow.
Damn Dude! So much for purple stems being a "problem". Looks good man. Way to go! How many lumens? Nevermind I got it.
