Oh I will. I would get that back out of the trash trim those as tight as you can and hang them or throw them in a paper bag. You could also make some killer BHO if nothing else.

I'm sure I'll get less than I wanted. My new goal is 8oz's of trimmed bud I guess. I won't complain if I get more but just looking at it and being realistic that's my guess. They are incredibly dense though and it's still green. They're just going to contract and get more dense when they dry. I think it may weight more than it looks like just being so dense.

I know that when I buy weed I'm constantly surprised at how 1/4 of one type in the bag is twice the size of another type. I've bought 1/4's before that were one 3 1/2" bud. They always last way longer then the fluffy bags because the dense bud burns so long usually.

If you look around there are freaks that say males make good edibles. They do have THC.

 

I took the two plants I was thinking about flushing and did a close inspection. The biggest tops are done according to the trichomes but some of the lower buds not as much. I still see a little swelling going on. I'm decided to give them a fresh set of simple nutrients instead of a flush just yet. I may flush this weekend instead. Here's some bud porn.

 

I'm just trying to make sure I get all I can out of them. My tall plant is definitely done. It's just the buds up close to the stem and some further down that are just getting ripe. I don't mind letting the top go a few days past. It's still getting bigger foxtailing a bit at the end. I should flush tonight so I can cut down Sunday. I'm not going to partially harvest since I don't know when one of these may shoot out a male part. I want to get the bud side cleaned out. I'm going to let two of them go 9 weeks since they are still shooting out a bunch of white hairs and still have some green leaves.

 

I put 2tsp florakleen in 1 1/2 gallons of Alaska rainwater and gave it to my pride and joy. It's sad but she's definitely done. 2 days from 8 weeks since switch to 12/12. Only 7 since showing sex. Cutting her down in two days.

I can't wait to smoke this.

 

I took the plunge this morning and chopped down Purple Prose.




She smells so good. Like grape candy for sure. I set up that cool picture and then all my shots were out of focus when I uploaded and looked at them close. My wife got some too so I'll maybe post one of hers. I didn't trim it that tight because the leaves were so frosty some of them were hard to clip. I have some stony looking trim.

 

Look at this beautiful trim. I love purple buds. This is going to be one batch BHO one batch brownies with coconut oil in the crockpot.

The scissor hash was amazing.

 

By the way, no seeds were detected at all or male parts on this plant!!! =)

I sorted some of the best bud clipping tips out of the trim tray and rolled up a nice size fairly wet bowl to taste it. It tasted and smoked way better and smoother than the bud I currently have which is AK47 and whitewidow. I was shocked. I expected it to be harsh being fresh trim but it was surprisingly smooth and the high hit hard. I'm really excited. As it's drying it's getting so purple it doesn't even look real. Almost no green to the actual buds.

I'm putting the next plant in flush tonight. This first one I cut down with only a 2 day flush which is what the directions on the bottle said. It tasted clean but I may go 3 days next time just to make sure.

 

I trimmed the second plant last night. It was only maybe 2/3rds to 1/2 the bud of the first plant but it looks good. I'm pretty sure it's Grand Daddy Purple too. The buds I've harvested so far are as purple as I've ever seen.

I decided to smoke a bowl of the smaller popcorn from the plant I cut down Sunday. It was so freaking stoney it blew my mind. I've been smoking some good white widow with some butter alcohol extract hash on it but this bowl of my own stuff floored me. It's some of the stoniest weed I've ever smoked. I smoke quite a bit. If a rookie took a hit of this stuff they would think I laced it. I can't wait to get a jar cure on some.

I bet it's close to 30% thc. I've smoked stuff that high and it didn't even hit me this hard. I can't wait to pack one of these for my friends and watch what happens. =)

 

I'm going to jar up my first plant tonight. It's getting pretty dry. I left it on the stems mostly. I've been using one of those hanging drying racks for about 5 days. The small buds are smokable but still a little harsh.

 

I manicured all the buds but left them on the longer stems to keep the drying process a little slow. The really small crappy popcorn nugs went in the trim tray. Everything more than a bowl got manicured. U can see it in the picture a few posts up. I left it on the stems just like that and laid them in the dry racks.

From my research 80-90% of people trim wet. If you trim dry you get glands flying everywhere.

I'm really blown away at how good this bud is. It literally may be the stoniest I've ever smoked. It's the type you take 2 hits of and the bowl just sits there because when the high hits you, you forget what you were doing. I think it has something to do with the UV in the LED's. I noticed it really crystally while it was going and I knew it would be good but not this good. It's definitely not for rookies. The funk it puts in the air when it burns is amazing too.

I can't wait to make some edibles. This strong ass bud is going to make my brownies sedate people.

 

I did a water change on stout sister. She's looking pretty done so she got florakleen and rainwater only. It's 9 weeks today. Cutting her down on Monday or Tuesday. Out of all the bud she has the least amount of leaf. Hardly any trimming to do on this top. Ugly stepchild has almost as big of buds but way more white hairs so I'm letting the buds foxtail a little to add weight and stagger my harvest. I'd much rather trim one plant at a time and another a couple of days later than all at once. I got 2 soil plants in the bud room now filling out gen 2. They've been in suspended animation vegging for 3 months rootbound in 2 gallon pots while the others finished off. I put them in 5 gallon smartpots for bud.


Glass extractor and filters showed up for my BHO kit. Trim is reasonably dry. I'm going to do a batch of purple shatter this week.

 

I've done that microwave thing before. It does work in a pinch if you absolutely have to smoke this wet bud right now.
