First Grow... Could Use Some Experienced Advice!!

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Tyx420, Dec 13, 2011.

  1. Well.... As the title reads i'm taking my first journey down the path of self cultivation.

    My Babies:
Right now I have a home built stealth cab made of an armoire,
    With 3 bagseed, 1 G13 Labs Auto Ak, 1 Paradise Seeds-Acid
the bagseed will be 5 weeks old in 2 days, the ak, and acid will be 2 weeks old

I thought all was going well had great growth, good color, etc..
but now they have changed for the bad i think!
anyways i'll get to the pics so you can actually see.

I Would Greatly Appreciate Any Diagnosis/Advice To Correct It!

  2. What type of soil is it? Any slow release nutes?

Are you doing any liquid feeding? What's the pH of the water and source?

From how they are lookin id say your usin Miracle Gro with about 30% perlite added.... Seem to always look that way at this age when usin that crap...if you have to use it use MoistureControl. Also it looks like you still hav em in 20oz cups at 5 1/2 weeks they should have definately been transplanted by now.

  4. im using a mix.
    Fox Farm Ocean Forest
    Perlite
    Peat Moss,

Im using water from tap with a ph of 6.0
I recently started with a nutrient mix from Humboldt Nutes

  5. oh also im using nutes at a 1/4 strength every 3rd water

  6. Yeah FFOF is some good stuff... They still in the 20ozer's?

  7. Yes just till I can go get something tomorrow,
I'm looking for the most space efficient thing I was thinking some tall and narrow cause I know roots grow down rather than out, and height isn't an issue just space

  8. Could that be the cause?

  9. Doen't look like root boud but it aint far from it in those cups...The one that is very yellow looks like it needs to be fed if your still feeding at 1/4 strenth that could be the prob cause your suppose to gradually work your way up to full strenth over 3 or four feedings...Also could be a potassium def.. How many you tryin to fit in your space? Your gonna wat at least 3gallon pots.

  10. Well my goal is a perpetual system!
Right now I have 5 seedlings in the veg and I'm thinking flower 2 at a time fitting 3 gallon pot in my flower box would be no problem its just getting them in the veg box after the transplant that will be hard.

Also thanks for the advice and the quick reply!

  11. did the transplant and upped nutes and theryre doing great!!
    thanks for all the advice!
