  1. Hello all, this is my first attempt at growing and i would appreciate any helpful input i can get.

    Basic Info:

Seeds were givin to me by a friend of a friend that grows, (he claims they are some kind of G13x? mix. Idk about that im just happy to have some legit seeds)

I built i veg box and it has 2 26w 6500K cfl's. (flower box is almost done)

Planted in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. No nutes added yet.

My babies are 5 days old.

Thats pretty much it so far, lemme know if you guys have any ideas or tips for me.
I will post updates every couple of days to monitor progress

    Thanks!

  4. Day 12: some of the leaves got a little droopy, i gave them a nice watering (last one was monday) and they began to perk back up

  5. Day 13: When woke up this morning the root of one of them had popped out of the soil curled up. I tried to push some soil under it to help stand it up more straight, and i also moved the plant a little farther away from the light in hopes that it will stretch towards it and fix on its own. Anything else I can do to help it out??

  7. but my other isnt doing quite as well. this is the one that i last posted a pic of because the root came out of the soil and my plant fell over. Anyway, i proped it up for a few days and now it can stand without any help but it is still crooked. is it worth keeping? or should i ditch it and stick with just one?

  8. It sucks feeling like your having a convo with yourself huh? LOL

As far as the crooked plant, take a toothpick and stand it up, newborn plants get all funky when they first start and I believe it's time those girls got thier pwn pots. At the least a 2 gallon is what you want, that way it can stay in there till harvest!

  9. it is definitely time to transplant those babies into bigger pots.

    good luck.

  10. haha yeah good to know i'm not going insane talking to myself. I am planning on only keeping 1 (in hopes 1 is a girl) because its all i have room for. I was planning on veggin these about a week and a half longer then switching them into my big box to flower so i can see if either is female and keeping one. I know the solo cups are kinda small but my veg box is limited space. I can fit bigger pots in there but not big enough ones to be final. Is it worth transfering 2 more times for a bigger pot now?

    Thanks for responding

  11. good job so far!... do you mean transplanting 2 more times?

  12. Thanks Dre and Makizushi for the tip i got right on it.. here are some pics of my transferred plant.. it is in a 1/2 gal milk jug for now

  13. well i just went ahead and transferred them anyway. But yes, 2 more times as in now, and then again when i figure out which of the two is female that i am keeping. I cant fit them into their final pots because i just dont have the room in my current veg space. Will transferring them now, and then again in like 3-4 weeks be too much shock and stress on them?

  14. oh ic ic.. it is best to keep transplanting to a minimum. How many watts will your flower room have?

  15. Ok, just one more transplant and that will be all. My flower box will have 4X26w & 1X42w which is a total of 146 watts. (all 5 bulbs are 2700k) Think this will be good for a single plant?

  16. oh ya 146w will be more then enough for 1 plant

  17. such thing as too much??

also, what do you think about adding nutes?? when i got the soil the guy told me it had enough nutrients in there for the plan to live up to a month so i havent added anything yet. When and what should i add? (my soil is FFOF)

    Thanks

  18. you can have plenty more light if u have the $$ but u want about 100w per plant plus 50w per additional plant... so ur 146w for 1 plant is above average. Add nutes when ur first leaves die off. I'm not so educated on which nutes but u could always go for some 10-10-10 basic fert.

  19. Alright thanks for all your help man.. I'll be keeping up with your grow as well, best of luck!
