Hey guys, Been lurking around the forums quite a bit reading, but this is my first post. I have 2 1.5-week old plants that I have been growing in my closet, as well as 2 that have just sprouted. The strain is blue mystic auto flower. I am expecting company for a couple days this weekend and was wanting to take a more stealthier approach. I have a 24"X12"X28" stainless steel garage cabinet that I was planning to use. I know it isn't ideal, but it is much larger than a lot of these PC grows I see. Will this be sufficient? My two plants are in 3 liter square pots, and the two seedlings are in solo cups for now. I have: 6 23watt 6500k CFL's and plenty of wall outlet/light socket adapters and surge protectors that I plan on using as my light fixture. It has an adjustable shelve that I plan on mounting the power strip to, and move it up and down and the lights needs to be raised. I also plan on painting the interior of the cab flat white, and I have lots of weather stripping to seal it up nicely. I already have the tools available to cut 1 1/5" holes for ventilation. I have no idea how I will light proof the ventilation system and how I will power it. I understand pc fans seem to be the thing of choice but I really don't want a power supply and all those extra wires (not to mention expenses). Is there anything I am missing here? I'm up for any suggestions before I assemble this cabinet. I don't see why it wouldn't work, but id rather have a decent design going before I ruin this $100 cabinet. I hope to get some pictures up as I get it assembled. Thanks in advance for any help
I think my main issue will be height, with the cabinet being only 28". But I will cross that bridge when I get there.
You can probably get by with one of those 4 inch duct booster fans. You can get one for around $30 at home depot
