First time grower here, have a few questions for my aeroponic set up... I have a 5x5 room built out, complete with 1000w HPS, controls timers etc. The room is located in garage, and is unconditoned (ie no AC or heat). Other rooms in the space have heat/AC. I am located in MA, so cold winters and a few hot months. My question is, can I use the heat from the 1000W HPS to heat the space this winter, by running it without the exhaust fan? If I find that the room gets too hot, I am capable of installing a thermostatic control to bring the fan on to control temperature, if needed. During the summer months, I intend to run the fan continuously. Also, my seedlings have all germinated and were planted in net pots with foam inserts today. What is the recommended on/off times for my misters at this stage? There is a lot of conflicting info out there!
