I started my grow with some 3000K LED's (5 Dayss in with 24/24) and 2 days ago switched to a 175W metal halide lamp. I am using General Hydroponics Micro/Bloom blend. It seems that the babies are shooting up fairly quickly but don't have any body, just a top 4 leafed spout. I am not thinking this is normal? But i have some pictures to get the general gist. Thanks for advice..
sounds like stretching, idk how far leds are supposed to be from the plants but its something like 10 inches maybe less.
yea dude its most likely stretching, thats what your diagram shows anyway, but stretching is not the end of the world dude, all you need to do is when u repot it bury it a bit deeper so the soil line is higher up the stem, thus making the plant shorter & no more stretching
