hello! I’ve overwatered and saved a plant- had some wonderful advice from the fine people of this forum. I’ve added perlite to the soil during the transfer today, upgraded my light from a small grow light + an aquarium plant light I had set up. Now I’m running one 1000w led for the 6 plants. Added some Epsom salt semi- recently to my water, and will continue to (any thoughts on how often?) and I’m feeding with fox farms big bloom and grow big, not mixing together but separately feeding with each water every few days. May I have some opinions on my plants? Thanks!
They look a bit small to me....but I only grow Auto's.....so I am not used to looking at photo-periods.......I use Fox Farm Trio as well.....I noticed you mentioned you feed seperately....I just wanted to tell you that you can mix and feed together if you want to, as that's what I do. I also would use the Epsom Salt but like 2 or 3 times during its life.....thats all my plants really seem to need
They do right?? I’ve been doing so much research and I have to say, some photos had me discouraged on the size of mine - which greatly influenced the light upgrade. Is that something to worry about? I was hoping the higher watts will give em a growth spurt. And thanks for the advice on the nutrients ! I’ve been worried about overfeeding and nutrient burn, things like that.
Yeah, you def wanna be careful with the nutrients....alot of newbies wanna pack on the nutrients thinking its gonna make the plant and buds SOOOOO much better....it doesn't!!! The light plays a HUUUUUUUUUGE part in the growth of your plant.....if you had "sup-par" lighting at first....well you will have "sub-par" plants.....don't worry too much about the size of your plant right now.........pay more attention to HOW it grows...and HOW it responds to "this change" or "that change".......that will make your NEXT plant even better
Thank Thank you so much!!! And yeah that completely makes sense, this has been a learning process and I’ve learned so much! Got these seeds right outta some bud and thought, heck let’s try germinating hahaha
It definitely seems like you have the "will and drive" to grow MJ plants to harvest..........might wanna consider getting some seeds online......pick any strain your heart desires....and can even get em feminized!!
Okayyy see this is what I’m wondering!! I don’t necessarily live in a legal state, it’s only medicinal here. I’ve been worried about ordering seeds, as growing is illegal any thoughts on how people get seeds online shipped to states where it’s not legal to grow?
Yeah...you just order them........NO PROBLEMS 99% of the time.............I am in Florida...if that helps you out with shipments.....and I get my seeds to my door NOOOO PROBLEM!
Awesome! I feel this was a blessing to find so many ones that actually sprouted ! I’d be happy to learn what I can with these, and really dive into it with some feminized seeds! Thanks for all the info!!!
No problem....if you ever need help or have a question...feel free to PM me.....if I don't know the answer I'm sure we can find someone on here that can help ya! Happy growing!
Yea they really small for photos but some plants even the same seed grow differently . here is my room as of now. All plants in there except two clones which ill show u from the same plant and same rooting time to see difference also. U need to worry about room conditions . I keep, mine between 60 and 70 rh . and 80s to 90s depending on when i try to bring more oils out. Hunidty soil and temp are keys along with the light. U can have 1000 watts no hunidity and no growth because of it. Read and read knowledge is key Sent from my VS500PP using Tapatalk
These two are clones of the same vine of a plant. One higher up and one lower. The one that was softer has grown faster. The harder one is growing slower but will have good stalk and vine growth. No plant grows the same. But that's what I got for ya . Sent from my VS500PP using Tapatalk
Wow...RH in the 80s and 90s...that IS a new technique to me....I will most certainly look into that...thank you They are lookin good.......dont they just branch out like crazy!?!?
I was Capt fox for years in here. I have mixed over 12 nutes at one time Sent from my SM-G935T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Wow, those are beautiful! And I figured as much, the space I have has a decent amount of humidity- in the 70-75% range. I suppose it’s just the lighting I had set up. I kept it on usually for 24hours because it was a lower wattage. Do you think theres any way to catch up with some growth? Or do ya think I should stick to the 18/6 lighting?
Now that I’ve upgraded my planters and amount of soil, it makes more sense to mix gallons of water at a time so now I can figure using different nutrients at once !

Don't keep changing the cycles. Very bad. And the 24 0 cycle is what slowed them down. They do need time for sleep . what u see on my pics are 18 6 from the start. And ty it took time to get dialed in inside . I usually grow outdoors. Try pro mix and cow shit, char, hydrated lime , and blood meal, and perlite, and whatever organic u wanna use. Read up. Those plants are not fed shit but crushed up organic miracle grow and for bloom I add cool bloom to the water. People make growing weed to hard. And I get fat ass buds without spending all that cash lol. Sent from my VS500PP using Tapatalk
