First female pistil???

    Plants lanky as hell.

    Thats a preflower. All plants have that male or female. How long has she been in 12/12. Usually takes some time of being in 12/12 to get the first pistals. Starts slow then they roar up production of it.

    just a little bit. and yeah, this is a first grow attempt with a shitty stretched out first couple of weeks. im not looking for any yield from it, just an experience. :) and just about a week of 12/12. im probably going to veg it for a while longer :) so it will fill out some. just having fun with a beautiful part of nature.

    Well since its your first to let you know CFLs have a grow radius of about 2-4 inches. Meaning you have to have tons of CFLs all over to keep it compact. Your plant is lanky because it wants light. Seedlings are not the only ones that stretch to the light. You will most likely have to put some sort of support in when the buds come out.

    Your plant will never fill in from more veg because of its light issues. Add alot more CFLS or get a new lighting scheme.


    Also once you go into 12/12 there is no vegging. You can reveg but that requires you to go back to more then 12 hours of light..18/6 20/4 etc.

    Whats happening when you go into flowering is your plant builds up a hormone and every day it builds up and up. Then pop the plant starts the flowering process. That is not something that reverses in one day.

    not showing yet.....plant is mature enough though..

    put it into 12/12 and in a couple weeks you'll see em

    you know.. that plant could actually be a good yeilder... needs more light definitely though..

    also, those are called stipules, just lettin ya know.. they can become branches

    this is one of many pistils showing now. im lucky my one little seed happened to be a lady. and a heavy sativa at that. XD ive added about 10 CFLs. to the five i already had. totaling at 15. and i have two industry size fluorescent tubes running the length of the plant. thank you all for the information. sorry for the late reply. i've been super busy. if there is any more info or help you could give me about flowering, harvesting,yeild, curing. or anything else that jumps out at you. just let me know. thank you all so much.

    yeah that there is a lady for sure

    and if you dont mind me asking....what kind of camera you use to take those pics...thats some CLARITY!!!

    im pretty stoked on the heavy sativa blend. and its a Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. its got a "macro foliage" setting that blew my mind. i love being able to SEE the trichs on the pistil. XD
