First Ever Indoor Grow

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by sprinklehead, Mar 24, 2016.

  1. Hello All,
I have been documenting my first indoor grow. Made some interesting mistakes along the way, showing just how versatile the canabis plant really is.

I started with a bag seed Planted Outdoors Late July 2015.
She started flowering in September as the natural light started to shorten. I found an old PHOTOTRON 2 at a local garage saale and set her up inside at 18on/6off to try and re-veg. She started filling out I then played around with topping and such, just to see how this (Unidentified) seed would react.
I have to add that I also found a file Market 600w Dual balanced light hood and kept 66w MH on this plant for a month.

I finally decided to switch to HPS 66w
This is growing behind a sheet in my laundry room thus far so Climate is just luck of the draw, and since se is in a General Hydro Hydry pot I started the Nutrients during Veg growth.

Thus far I hadn't even considered PH and started adjusting the water to 5.5-5.9

My Tent arrives..... So I set up my tent, I have the 600w hood in a 2X4X6' tent. I put in a carbon filter as well as ducted through the light hood.. I hung an oscillating fan for air flow and have an adjustable fan speed controller for the exhaust. I also re-did my scrog net. (I'm embarrassed by the way its being used here) But it is for a future grow. (Seeds in veg now) At this point, I am in week 11 so the pics may be out of order, but here she is. If someone could identify the strain that would be nice, but unnecessary.
Thanks for watching. I'm starting a new grow #2 with some purchased seeds. HOPEFULLY more to follow.

  2. Amazing transition of your grow dude. I learnt alot from my first few failed grows. If you dont make mistakes and learn from them you dont end up with amazingly grown MJ like that.

  3. Thanks, I'm all about the "Learning Curve". Theory is one thing, and execution another, But I'm honestly happy with the first plant. It gave me a practical test-run for my Hydro as well as the tent.
I will followup with some "Budd Porn" if I get any!
