  1. This is my first Hydro grow of any form. Did a little research and this is my set up. I still need and have room for improvement! Any advice is appreciated! Thank!

Light- HLG 600 at 2ft above canopy and at 50%
    Soup- 68- 76 degrees. Ppms at 120.
Using complete line of Cx horticulture Nutirents.
    Water is 7.1 ph and 35ppm. Ph down to 5.5 stabilizes to 5.8-6 though put the day. 20190505_210112.jpg 20190505_210107.jpg 20190505_210012.jpg 20190505_210004.jpg 20190505_205940.jpg 20190505_205925.jpg 20190505_205931.jpg 20190505_205814.jpg

  2. I also forgot to mention that they have water farm drip rings at the moment. 20190429_072302.jpg

  3. nice buckets their have something very similar and work great and looks like girls are doing great as well. Ppms seem good is she eating alot or are the ppms going up? Also just as a preventive the only thing i would change or add is some hydroguard, will make your hydro much easier and a lot less problems even if stuff running a little warm.

  4. if you start to have problems just use the basics like a veg or bloom nutes and some cal-mg that way you can correct the problem. LESS=MORE just remember that

  5. I would suggest wrapping your dwc buckets with black/white panda reflective film rather than all that aluminum foil. Foil is ok, but I always felt like it eventually absorbs heat and then that heat transfers onto the bucket. Wrapping them in the black/white film (white side out) keeps things nice, dark and cool underneath. I would also suggest watching your reservoir temps and make sure they don’t go too far beyond 70 degrees F. Otherwise, you'll start running into root issues. If you can get your hands on some black (or even blue) hoses for your air pump, that would be a bit better than the clear ones. Are you still going to continue to use the top drip feed system once the roots reach the nutrient solution?

  6. There wrapped in a double layer of installation around a solid black bucket. I used aluminum foil tape just as extra precaution because it's also glued to the sides of the bucket

  7. I dont think I'll keep the drip rings once they hit the water. At that point they seem redundant.

  8. Yea, that was the point I was getting to lol.

  10. So... Roots finally hit the water. Rez is at 62°. but temp hasn't fluctuated since I insulated buckets and removed driver off my light and hung on wall putside of tent, a ph of 5.9 and ppm of 130. (Which I think is a little high so I will dilute a little. 20190506_173750.jpg 20190506_173328.jpg 20190506_173323.jpg

  11. Roots are looking very nice, healthy, and white. Is that the result of the Regenaroot from your nute lineup?

  12. I would like to think so. Im using thecx horticulture hydro a & b, regenaroot, wilt gaurd, mega growth enhancer, bio balance and t drops.

  13. UPDATE: Plants have grown quite a bit. Removed drip rings. The tips were starting to yellow so I lowered the ppm to 90. Roots are a beautiful white. And more and more everytime I look. 1557363488174.jpg 1557363459457.jpg 1557363583634.jpg 1557363858356.jpg

  14. Ok so got a ?. I lowered my ppms. To a out 90ish. From 120. Bow instead of my ph rising which was a normal occurence fro. 5.6 to 6. Now 8ts lowering. Everything still looks good to the eye. As far as roots and leaves go. Any ideas?

  15. I'm not sure why your pH is lowering. Are your reservoir temps changing in any way? Could it be perhaps because you keep lowering your ppm's? I wanted to ask, are you sure the tips of the leaves were yellowing? I'm asking because those ppm's seem pretty low for a plant in your stage and I never did see any yellowing tips from the pics you provided. I've been growing in DWC for years now and my ppm's are usually higher by the stage your plant is in. By week 2 after sprouting I'm already giving my plant a ppm of around 100 or so. I raise the ppm as she gets bigger. You seem to be doing the opposite. Though the plant and the roots look good, don't wait until she starts showing signs of deficiencies because she's hungry to start feeding her more nutes. If she's not really yellowing at the tips, I'd go back to the ppm of 120.

  16. I'll send u a pic when I get home and see what you think of its tips were yellowing. When I lowered the ppm to about 90 the ppm and water started to lower at almost the same rate. But.ill recorded some.stuf and see what u think after work

  17. It's hard to see with the light but I thought they were yellowing a tad. BUT I am color blind so I could be wrong. What do you think? 1557526008150.jpg

  18. Ok yea, from that last pic it does look as if nute burn was just beginning. So the pics before this one is what they look like now or is this also what they look like now? So the ppm's in the 90's has been working for her?

  19. This is what she looks like now. But ppms have settled. And she's been hovering in the 90 ppms. That's what I'm looking for right? For them to stay relatively constant? Thanks for your input too.
