  1. For 6 weeks I’ve been told the plants are under size. When I started the first 2 weeks were just under standard light bulbs. Then got a 300 watt LED. I’m seeing roots in the drain holes so I’m thinking it’s time to transplant. I’m hoping now that they will take off.
At the moment they are tight in the cabinet I’m using. I have a 5 x 9 room in the cellar. Im thinking now I should start converting the room. I’m thinking the cellar is a good place. We have steam heat. So the systems keep the cellar 64 degrees in the New England winters.

  2. Your plants look good. Do you realize that light will only grow one plant? Good luck.

  3. I had no idea. That was going to be my next question. I have six plants.
I was wondering if I should get HPS lights instead of LEDs. I was hoping those lights might be able to grow more plants then LEDs per light. But I’m guessing

  4. HPS would be the best bang for your buck if you're on a budget. Quantum Boards are the best for quality. You would need 6 of those 300w Chinese blurples - they're typically only around 130 watts each. When buying cheap led's you can't go by what the manufacturers call them or by the equivalent wattage - out of the wall actual watts is what to consider. For six average size plants you will need approx. 900 watts of cheap led's or HPS, and about 700 with QB's. Good luck.

  5. Thank You.
