  1. Ok so when you say use 1/4 of the recommended dosage per gallon should I be going by the 'General Feeding' / 'Heavy Feeding' or 'Seedlings' dosage's?

And I didn't get a chart from them, well at least where I went didn't have them. Only got the little brochure that has all their products.

  2. go by the general feeding guide and use half of the recommended amount. When the plants get bigger and are growing faster then up the nutes again.
you can give them a little nutes at a time to see how they react, but if you give them too much they will end up hurting the plants.

this is a chart a friend and myself edited a little bit for beginners so they wouldnt over do it.

  3. Don't think 1tsp/gallon is too much for the first feeding or should it be fine? Don't wanna nute burn em on the first go lol.

  4. yeah rock 1 tsp/gal and make sure your ph is where it should be (6.3-6.7ish).
if the plants like it give them 2 tsp/gal next week. then start thinking of getting the other 2 FF nutes and follow the chart i posted

  5. Quick post before I update with some new pics.

Was wondering if I should be using the water with nutes in it for each watering or should I do it ever other and just use only water in-between?

  6. use nutes every time you feed it. then the last 7-10 days before harvest just use straight water.

you can use just water every other feeding but ive done nutes straight till the last week for 5+ years now and ive always had great results. my shit gets 350/z and i never have enough to meet the demand.

  7. its going good man, mines getting very very tall with only 3 lights on her.

id top or lst them for maximum yields.

    looks very nice!

  8. Some new pics today, had watered the ladies before I took these so hence the drooping. Getting a lot bigger now, one's a growing a bit taller while the other seems to be growing more bushy. Gonna need to get em into something bigger here soon. And I'm kinda at a loss as to what to do, if anything, to em. With the space I have should I try topping or scroging them? Granted I don't know their sex's yet so I don't know what to do really. Kinda wishing I had just went with a single plant at a time.

  9. My power flickered while I sleeping so my alarm to turn the lights on didn't go off and the I didn't get my lights on this morning at the usual time. They got a couple extra hours of dark today and I was wondering if that would have any detrimental effect on them at this stage?

Also anyone have any suggestions on if I should try to top or scrog them?

  10. it might hurt them. go to wal mart and buy a timer for 5 bucks and you wont have to worry about this ever.

  11. Dont worry, a couple hours more dark wont hurt them a bit.

  12. Some new pics today, the ladies(hopefully) are getting bigger. Wondering when I should make the switch to 12/12. With the room I have and from the reading I did I should switch when they're roughly at 1/3rd of their final height? Does that hold any merit or have I mis-read?

Also went and got a timer the other day. :D

  13. Bump before I pass out.

Any help or advice is much appreciated. :smoke:

  14. 1/3 is a good starting point for 12/12. every strain is a little different so its good to start at 1/3 and adjust on future grows from your last grows experience.

i always do it at 1/3 but ive seen a lot of people do it at 1/2 and their plants end up with burnt top colas.

  15. Another update today. Think they're at a little over then a month of vegging, think they had a slow start in the crappy soil I used at first. Thinking I should switch to 12/12 soon and put in the 2700's, maybe add a 6th bulb and throw a 6500 in the mix for flowering. Thoughts?

  16. start tying those ladies down. You can see how I'm doing it in my grow, got some close ups, I wouldn't suggest using like a slip knot around the stem though as I did in vers. 1 lol worked fine, but then it looked like the knot didnt expand with the stem so I cut it, the new way im doing it is to just tie a closed loop so you have a loop string, and um, well , yeah, just look at the pictures haha saved me about 2-3 inches of vert growth every time I did it.

  17. I think once I get them out of these 8" pots and into some 1 or 2 gallon pots I'll lst them. Not sure about topping, if I only had one plant maybe. Nice looking grow you got there by the way, what size pots are you using there?

  18. 1 gal, got a ph issue at the moment :(
gonna fix it with the next water though. Probably going to flower at the end of the month too

Got a bunch done today, found a local place that sells Fox Farm products so I picked up Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom as well as another bag of Ocean Forest. They also carried another couple lines of liquid fertilizers, something like BC Bloom and BC Boost.

Got some free 2 gallon pots to get the ever growing ladies into, which made me go with my plan of cutting out the bottom of the cabinet and dropping the pots down to the actual bottom of the dresser freeing me up another 5-6 inches of vertical growing space. Pictures of course.

So after finishing up with the fun that was cutting out the bottom of my cabinet I transplanted the ladies (and I'm actually thinking I see a pistil or some pre-flowering on the shorter of the two) into their new homes. The root growth was looking very very healthy and I wish I had taken some pictures of the root porn. :D

I've been thinking I want to top them both and try doing a scrog. I'm curious though if it's still ok to top them at this stage and if one (I think anways) is showing sex/pre-flowering?

Well enough rambling as it's like 6am, on with the pictures of the ladies in their new homes and my new mod on the cabinet.
