First batch of Cannabutter :)

    So I have been reading various recipes and techniques for producing the best canabutter and have tweaked them to fit my needs. I am only using a gram of some good stuff. I used to smoke a gram a day of good stuff and I smoked again for the first time in 1.5 month last night (2 hits off bowl) and was so high I was freaking out and must of ate my weight in food. Let's see: taco salad, cheese it's with tuna fish, personal pepperoni deep dish pizza, ice cream out of the bucket.... Geez seems even worse writing it down! And to think I was on my way to the gym when this smoking sesh fell into my lap lol!
    Anyways, back to my cannabutter... 1gram of good bud, 3/4 stick of butter (before clarifying) my mini crockpot (little dipper) and a toothpick. Added ingredients and have been stirring at various intervals, anywhere from every 15 min to 25 minutes. Forgot to mention, I used a fine sized cheese grater to break down my bud... I think it worked out pretty good. I have a meat thermometer I stuck in the middle of the crockpot, rigged something up to where it would stand and replaced the lid (sits uneven). It is cooking anywhere from 200-225.
    I'll let you guys know how it turns out. It's been going for about 3 hours maybe 4. Any suggestions or tips for me that I can adjust this far into it?

  3. Hey hey now! I'm a lightweight at this point, actually, thank goodness I'm a lightweight cuz the whole gram a day thing for me sure had its financial downside.

  5. Well I took it off after 5 hours and strained it real good into a spice jar I had. I froze it for about thirty minutes. For dinner I had cajun shrimp, Mac and cheese, a salad and then chose some garlic bread for my special butter. Put a third of it on a piece of toast topped with some garlic powder and Colby jack cheese and put it on broil for about 2 minutes. I didn't get it as crispy as I would of liked to but I didn't want to risk burning off the thc. I could taste the green but with the garlic and cheese it blended well. Yes that is a small dose but my tolerance is low. I'm more so just trying to find a good recipe so I can feel comfertable making bigger batches. I just moved and I'm broke :eek:
     
  6. 2 hours in I definently feel it. I'm a little confused, slow, having a hard time typing, would much rather watch tv.
    Anyways. Don't want to waste it so I just made Red lobster cheddar bay biscuts. Omg. Awesome idea. Here is the recipe

    Replace butter with cannabutter.. Of course i cut this recipe into a fourth of what it was. But I can't taste the butter at all.
    I tried eating a bite of just cold butter on a velvettA noodle and gagged. Had to hold my nose to get it down. But the cheddar baked biscuts were amazing. Parsley and garlic kinda absorbs and works with the green flavor. Someone should try it with some legit butter. And also, almost double the cheese..... TRUUSSSSSTTT MEEEEEE :p

  8. dude doesnt matter if your a lightweight you should of just saved the gram of bud cause you wasted it you will feel no effects from your weedbutter
