In my opinion, firecrackers are a waste. Save your money and buy an ounce of schwag. Make some canna-butter. You'll get more response if you post this in the edibles section and not the growing section.
How are they a waste? You sure can't make cannabutter out of a couple grams. That's the whole point of firecrackers. 0.5 is a pretty low amount, I think you need to add a bit more weed to that. Are you sure you used the right peanut butter? I make firecrackers as quick snacks for trimmers, 2 grams... and they stop trimming. So not the best snacks.
