Firecracker newb questions...

  1. I've been reading about firecrackers alot and have come across some good recipes (a couple on here), but I'm not totally sure on a couple of things and would ideally like to know the deal before potentially wasting any weed.

    Any help from people with experience in this area would be much appreciated!

    (Sorry in advance if this is longwinded or people ask similar questions on here all the time)

    - I've read that .5-1g is the recommended amount of weed per firecracker... And I understand that you need to consume more when eating weed than if you smoked it. But the thing is, my tolerance is ridiculously low right now as I barely ever have time/the right circumstances to smoke. I'm lucky if I can smoke once every two weeks, and one small bowl/cone gets me COMPLETELY wrecked every time, usually for 4-5 hours. Half a gram would get me high on several occasions when smoked is basically my point. I'm not deadset against using that much for a firecracker, but I just want some clarification on whether it's really necessary or not? I was thinking maybe 3-4 times what I'd usually smoke would be more than enough? But that would probably only be like .25 (but of insanely strong shit with a high THC/low CBD ratio)... So basically I have a few different worries in regards to this. I'd hate to use even a small amount of weed if it didn't end up having a proper effect, but I'd also be wary of using half a gram and ending up way too stoned (last time I smoked I had a panic attack, first time it's happened but it was pretty fucked up) to enjoy it.

    - Will foil prevent the smell from being very noticeable? I used to smoke all the time years ago, and my parents would definitely recognise the weed smell, but even if there was a temporary smell for like an hour after cooking that'd be cool, as long as it wouldn't still be around 8-10 hours later as I never smoke indoors anymore. I made a weedless firecracker yesterday to see how it might turn out if there was weed in it, and it turned out great. Used nutella/honey graham crackers, and it didn't use out of the tightly wrapped foil at all. So I'm not really worried about fucking up the firecracker or not using the right ingredients, it's mainly just the amount of weed and the possibility of making the house reek of weed that I'm unsure about

    So yeah.. This is getting long but if anyone read this and has any advice based on personal experience that'd be great! Peace
     
  2. Personally, I would use .5. No one can really tell you how much to use to calm your nerves, because no one knows how you react to weed.

    Double wrap it in foil, and it should just smell like peanut butter.

  3. To answer your first string of questions:

    I'd use .75 man, right in between .5 and 1.0. Will be a moderate yet strong experience... not as strong as 1g tho. If your really worried about them not having an effect, you WANT to use that .7, because undercutting .5 WILL be a waste. I also suggest picking up like a dime of some mids or schwag and doing this if your afraid of wasting your herb, buts its just a risk ya gotta take. If you follow my guide [click my sig 2 see it] you will have a good chance of NOT messing em up. Just follow the steps PRECISELY. I have literally made over a hundred using that method.

    To answer your second question:

    There will be literally NO weed smell. Straight peanut butter/nutella within a 2 yard radius or so. If your really paranoid about your rents tho, my advice is when your making the real firecrackers, make a dud for them to taste if they ask.

    Still not really sure though about whether I'm gonna do this or not... The thing is, .5 (or .7) would get me completely wrecked several times anyway.. I think people probably underestimate what I mean by low tolerance, I mean like really really low. I've smoked like 4 grams in the last 6 months, but probably gotten stoned off of it like 30-40 times. I think I might wait till I have at least a quarter oz or something like that before I'd consider using an amount that would get me completely wrecked several times when smoked! I do wanna try it eventually though.

    Oh and would it work just as well if I made two firecrackers and used like .25-.35 in each of them? That way I could eat one and wait a couple of hours and eat the second one if I wasn't high enough
     
  5. Well the thing is, theres like a threshold you need to surpass to really "feel" it. It doesn't quite work like smoking, and you need more to feel anything... but the rewarding part is, you will feel that extra bit stronger for longer than smoking. So using .35 in a cracker and eating that, most likely wont do much but make you feel a bit off [not even buzzed or high, but weird]. .5 you will get a light-lightly moderate dosage. .7 is a moderate-moderately high dosage. After about 8.5, it starts getting heavy, but it also gets that much more amazing :).

    And trust me, I got your back. My roomate didnt used to smoke or anything, but was curious about herb. Last year I made him a .75 firecracker and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It was his second encounter with herb ever, so he really had an extremely low tolerance.

    Sweet, I might do it this morning (it's 5am where I am) after my parents go to work.

    The shit I've had recently is definitely higher in THC than even the other "good shit" I've gotten in the past, it's some of the strongest shit I've smoked, so I don't wanna overdo it but I'm thinking maybe I should make two crackers to be on the safe side. And also, would spreading the amount of weed out over two firecrackers potentially allow more THC to be absorbed, since there'd be a higher oil/fat to weed ratio? Haha sorry for all the questions, I read your firecracker thread btw, will definitely follow those steps if I do it today!

    I used to smoke all the time for like 8 years, then stopped almost by accident for a couple of years after quitting cigarettes but I seem to have almost a hypersensitivity to weed now, like the smallest amount (probably a tenth of what most people smoke to get well and truly wasted) gets me fucked up for 4-5 hours.. A couple of weeks back I smoked a small bowl and had a panic attack for the first time so if I overdid it with the edibles I think I'd probably have a fucked up experience at least for a while which is why I'm considering having one then another one later if it doesn't get me high enough (though I guess it might be more fun for the full dose to kick in all at once). I've only smoked this stuff a few times (only had like 6 bowls in the 5-6 weeks since I got it) but it always felt more like an energetic/stimulant sorta high than I'm used to which might explain the extra anxiety and panic attack thing
