I bought a florencent light for my plant(s) today. I put it on just to test it and left it on for a few min. When i felt it after that, it was warm. I thought florecent lights were heatless. Since i grow in my storage closet as to not alert the kids, there is insulation and insulation particles touching/very close to the light. Is this a hazard? Thanks Swine
Fiberglass insulation??? contains fire retardant. Safety and Security FIRST!!!! Please remove or move the insulation out of the way, reposition your light to prevent it from touching anything, install a vent fan to draw out the heat.
