has anyone ever had probs with flouresent ballasts t-8s beeing a fire risk i have some ina wooden box and they get kinda hot 6 of em just concerned..
yeh they get hot new electronic ballast are much cooler but shouldnt get hot enough to ignite the wood you could put spacers between the two
you could cool your light with computer fans. they come in many different sizes and most are pretty quiet.
