Both my parents are teachers but I never really thought of myself as a teacher. The things we learn in school are alright but they are not the truth. Very recently I think I have found my role in life. It's to be a teacher but not about the subjects in school. I wish to teach wisdom and consciousness. I've been doing it for years without putting a name on it. What does this realization mean for me? Absolutely nothing because its just a realization of my personality. Nothing will change because I'm always who I am. But I have noticed recently I'm getting better and better at knowing when someone's gonna "get it". And I focus my teachings on them because if someone's not ready to "get it", no amount of teaching in the world can stop them. Also just being a teacher doesn't mean I can't also be other things. It doesn't limit me at all.
The only thing worth learning in school is how to learn.... As for your "roll" I have found improvisation is the real key.... toss the script... Forget the lines... And make it up as you go along Do what you feel you should do... Forget what the world tells you... Find and follow that spark you Find within yourself... it will not lead you astray... unless astray is where you are ment to be...
Many people do jobs that seem boring and mundane, but that isn't necessarily what they do, it's only what they get paid to do. What you actually do can be something very different. Take a sales assistant in a shop for example. They can be someone who keeps the racks tidy, stocks the shelves, takes the money, banters with colleagues, smiles and says thank you, looks forward to going home. OR, they can open to those who come in. Listen to those looking to speak. Speak to those looking to listen. Give them something of themselves that makes a difference. Love them in a small way, just for a moment. See you in them and give you to them, in whatever way seems right or appropriate. The more they do this, the more those who come will reveal something not easily seen. No expectations. No judgements. Mostly unrecognised. But far more rewarding. And not the job they were employed to do. The ability to be who you really are is never limited by what goes on around you.
I find my life based around consciousness and how i perceive those thoughts through my mind. Do what you love and what makes you happy everyday. Don't let anyone else influence you in what you want. Burplekush
