I have a quick question and i know the answer probly requires a bit of lab equiptment... Me an a friend hold our own little cannabis cups between eachother just for shits and giggles, i'd like to take this a step further and actually find out the THC % in the bud we grow. Does anyone know the exact method or even some just as handy half-ass methods of gettingas close to the exact number as possible? Oh, and sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot, i thought general would be appropraite spot for this post...

this is just off the top of the head, but.... i would drie the pot completly then wiegh it (with precision). then preform a thc extraction and either way the remaining bud, or wiegh the amount of thc extracted.
How the hell do they extract the thc? I think i've heard of it being done, but how the hell do they do it? And why dont we all do it, as to get pure thc.. -Dave

i haven't the foggiest idea how to do that. i have wondered how it's done, though. perhaps you should call the police from a pay phone? or maybe call italy, cause i know they just decriminalized up to a gram OF THC, not a gram of pot, but a gram of THC. i'd imagine they have a way to figure out how much is in there, right?
Just for giggles and braging rights, you could convert your pot to ISO hash, use the same amount of weed and whoever gets the most hash oil wins.
yea we were thinking about making hash out of our pot. Iwas looking in another forum were someone posted the same question as I did, i over read that there is a machine that test %s of chemicals (such as THC) in substances... anyone know what im talking about?
